Because of this incredible community, we reached a total pot of $1080 — and we are so grateful for every ticket purchased, every share on social media, and every conversation that helped spread the word.

Congratulations to our raffle winner -

Christopher P. - winner of $540!

This raffle was more than a fundraiser — it was a beautiful reminder of what community support can look like when people come together for a meaningful cause.

From staff and volunteers to families, supporters, and friends of SWFIC, every contribution helped make our very first raffle a success.

Together, we are truly “Supporting Moms, Helping Families.”

Introducing the Helping Hearts Monthly Giving campaign!

South Winnipeg Family Information Centre (SWFIC) has been serving the Fort Garry and surrounding communities for over 50 years. Our trained and experienced program facilitators offer unique programming for children, youth, parents, women, and seniors that may not be available or accessible elsewhere. While we are grateful for the support of our funders, we are introducing the Helping Hearts Monthly Giving campaign to build a strong and sustainable foundation for the next 50 years and to create even more opportunities for our community.

By setting up a monthly gift through our direct CanadaHelps link, you can take the planning and guesswork out of giving while making a meaningful, ongoing impact. Helping Hearts Monthly Giving campaign benefits every person who visits SWFIC — supporting weekly activities for families, healthy snacks for children, educational opportunities for youth, essential supplies, and facility updates. Gifts may also support Dress for Success Winnipeg, providing interview clothing, employment transition services, and Essential Needs Kits for women in need.

Why should I become a Helping Heart?

Monthly giving allows SWFIC to plan ahead.  With monthly contributions, SWFIC can create sustainable growth and can continue to build and increase the programming we offer to the community.  Direct your contributions toward a fund that is important to you or keep it general.

Create a monthly giving within your budget, no amount is too little!  Even smaller contributions add-up over time, resulting in a wonderful gift that SWFIC will use to better serve our communities.  All contributions made through our direct CanadaHelps link will be issued an immediate tax receipt.

Thank you for your support and generosity. Every Helping Heart makes a difference! Even a small monthly gift can create meaningful change in the lives of individuals and families in our community!
