Just happenings
I take so long in between posts on my blog I forget how to do it!
Christmas was wonderful! Talking to Derek, and having Jordan be ok through a priesthood blessing were the highlights. We also had so many parties with family and friends it really made the holidays wonderful!
We have loved having little Rushie here with us. . .oh ya and Tiff and T :)! We are anxious for little Gage Hollister to arrive in June, and very excited that they are moving back to AZ!
Jordan is preparing his papers for his mission, I can't believe it is time for him to serve!
Beautiful Aubry did us proud by sharing her talent in singing! My heart soars when she pulls off a beautiful song like she did when she would sing "I need a Silent Night" by Amy Grant. She takes my breathe away!
Melany seems to have a sense for fashion, she always looks a cute as can be! She is playing basketball now and not loving it! But I have to say her volleyball season was great! I hope she will continue to be a good setter for the Snowflake Lobos!
Kamy, she seems to love life, although she has had a tough year in 1st grade, she has learned to deal with things that she doesn't really like. She struggles with her reading but sticks with it! She seems to be very fond of elderly people.
Of course Derek is doing wonderful and we are so thankful for his service. He is now serving in Boise!
That's what's happening!

Fun Day!
So today was one of those wonderful productive days that don't happen often enough.
My niece Ashley is about to have her 3rd little boy, and she is busy getting ready for the little guy to come. So my sisters and parents and I went to Round Valley to help her.
She had everything all ready to go. We went in and sewed bumper pad, bed skirt, curtains. (I say we, but actually it was Kris and Kim that did it.) I am there to press anything and give moral support. She also had shelves and pictures to be hung so Ann and I did that. It really turned out so cute.
She fed us lunch and bought cokes. So all in all it was a very great day! Thanks Ashley for the great day!

Oh what do you do in the summertime?
PSR 2011 for one and Colorado for another! Both were extremely fun! PSR. . . . Spending time with my family is always a treat. Everyone pitches in when work needs to be done, and then everyone gets involved in the playing as well. But why does it seem to fly by every year? Oh how I wish it would last longer. One of my favorite activities was the slip and slide. T seemed to have it down, jumping 8 people! So many fun things happened and it was so nice spending time each other.
Colorado. . . one of the funnest vacations we have ever done! 4 wheeling, riding horses, river rafting (floating), sight seeing, and sitting on the prettiest porch and looking at the beautiful view! It is my opinion that Heavenly Father must have been in a very good and peaceful mood when Colorado was created. Pictures don't do it justice. We stayed with Jenny Ladner (Wenner) her and Dickie Joe (her husband) were so kind and generous to us! We felt like royalty! I love RED ROCK RANCH! I have a lot more pictures, but to many to put on here. It was great being with Shea and the kids! One of the very best parts of it was there was NO cell phone service there! So I really did have my family all to myself!

Day 5
Oh boy my favorite quote: I don't have one! How sad is that! I am sure there are "sayings" that I have known throughout my entire life. Or a quote from a prophet or from a good book, but I am having a hard time having one come to my mind! So at this point I will end, but know this if I think of one it will be added to the blog!:)
