(read below the first few lines if you're not interested about my geometry dash related musings kthx)

geometry dash is in fact a game ever made. it helped me grow as a person, make new friendships and opps alike and expose myself to many a normie. i kind of hate myself for releasing so much stuff in secondary school that wasn't really meant as music but moreso a vessel for pushing my slop on unknowing gd users/creators. i say that because the majority of my tracks pre-2025 are ones i've grown to be rather ashamed of. i've become more musically competent since then, and if they were just bad tunes with no other strings attached, i'd feel less bad but i tied an entire community of people to those tracks, which is where i feel some guilt. near the end of my involvement in small gd communities i had people i genuinely really liked speaking to and to give them what i felt were mostly subpar tracks felt kind of shit, *especially* considering some of them were commissioned (if you're reading this far don't worry, none of my comm'd/collab/other tracks with rated levels tied to them were intentionally deleted so you can still access those), but most of my other stuff i just decided to trash out. it's not worth having a discography on this site which is four fifths shit to dissuade people from digging into my better tracks, so that's why i decided to take action now.

(ok i wax about my good shit / life / whatever else now :333)

asides from that, i feel like 2025 has easily been my best year for music yet. realised that drum and bass' modern scene wasn't really for me and essentially infiltrated underground trance spaces - was in mid purgatory for a few months until i came up with chiron (which i'm still really proud of!) and a few other tracks soon after (gliese, heaven). i also released two eps i'm pretty damn proud of but can't really upload them here because of ripped acapellas - and removing them would make the tracks feel odd. shoutouts to nuphory and beansclub and luuxu i would probably still be ass without you three and you helped me become the artist i am today ^u^

i think the most important thing i learned this year is to have expectations for myself to fulfill as a producer. one thing i learned really fast when i left gd is the underground trance scene's quality being all over the place. this can be taken as a good thing, especially considering some tracks which just fucking bang like oh my goodness i could name so many more, but as comes natural in any scene, there are also imitators and an endless sea of mid or even total ass! i could not live with myself being categorised as that (if you couldn't tell), so i feel that, funnily enough, spite for tracks i considered subpar was a critical point in my musical trajectory for this year. of course the good tracks also motivated me, but without the permanent fear of being labelled mid/ass in today's landscape i wouldn't have pushed myself to even be alright.

that's why my output has been way slower compared to past years, but worry not, i still have quite a few wips and whatnot that could be polished up into future tracks without much hassle. also maybe thinking of having an album/mixtape length thingamabob as my final college project, since i have to start doing that pretty soon !! it'll definitely have branding related to my somewhat recent relapse with friendship is magic because well . that series is just awesome and cute imosies. i had a secluded obsession with it when i was in primary school but social norms and whatnot made me very sheltered from actually giving myself the opportunity to enjoy that show until now. if you want discourse my top 3 are pinkie muffins and maud :333

you read this far (or just skipped thats fine too)! here are my favourite free plugins as of RIGHT. NOW. oh yeah

nakst - extrabold :: apricot :: integrate (good ass synths for trance/hands up/hardcore/whateva)

gvst - gclip (this is how i get my tracks loud. fuck a "loudness war" marketed plugin just get a hard clipper like this my vronut)

kilohearts - essentials (of course)

matt tytel - vital (abandonware but idc its still very nice and epic)

shattered glass audio - sga1566 (crunchy crispy twisty preamp that can make tracks sound like that. i like it)
