Sync Leadership was founded in 2008 by Sarah Pickthall and Jo Verrent, two disabled arts and culture leaders based in the UK. Sync was designed to combine leadership theory with one-to-one coaching and group coaching techniques to develop Deaf, disabled and neurodivergent leadership in arts, culture, heritage and media globally so they could make greater impact and fulfil their potential and their ambitions.

Sync has successfully run face to face programmes in the UK, Australia, Canada, South Korea, Singapore, Jordan and Palestine. In 2020, Sync had to re-think its face to face programming. Working in Canada, we successfully moved our intensive programme online to deliver it in French and English, ASL and LSQ.
With support from British Councils, Canada Council for the Arts, Creative Australia and ongoing support from VibrafusionLab, our partner in Canada, we continue to resource and stage face to face, online and hybrid programmes across the globe.
