The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Maldives, Her Excellency Iruthisham Adam has sent a letter of felicitation to His Excellency Jeyhun Bayramov, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan, in celebration of the 20th Anniversary of the establishment of the Diplomatic Relations between the Republic of Maldives and the Republic of Azerbaijan.
In her letter to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan, Minister Iruthisham extended warm greetings to the Minister, the Government and the people of Azerbaijan on the joyous occasion of the 20th Anniversary of diplomatic ties between the Maldives and Azerbaijan.
Minister Iruthisham also reflected on the close and cordial ties of friendship and cooperation between the two countries, noting that these relations have grown over the years into a mutually beneficial partnership. She highlighted that high-level exchanges, expanding economic linkages, and growing people-to-people connections have significantly strengthened bilateral cooperation and laid a solid foundation for deeper engagement across a wide range of areas.
Furthermore, Minister Iruthisham expressed her desire to enhance cooperation for the mutual benefit of the people of the Maldives and Azerbaijan.
