My Journey

April 24th 2013 I was overjoyed by a letter that came in the mail. It was from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, a reply to my application to serve as a missionary. July 19th 2013 I arrived in my mission ready to serve, stationed in a little town called Alang Alang. Photo: My mission president, President Andaya, and his wife welcome me in front of the McArthur’s Return monument.

November 7th 2013 My leaders evacuated me to San Jose, a neighborhood on the coastline of Tacloban City to prepare for super-typhoon Haiyan to hit the next morning.
