Week Thirty-four

Merry almost Christmas!
Today was our ward party. We had some special presentations from each auxillary. Some were funny, some were nice, and some were pretty. My mom is in the RS presidency so she sang "Still, still, still" with the other presidency members. And the primary did the nativity. And guess who came at the end...SANTA!!! He told me that I was such a good boy that I would get lots of paper to stuff in my mouth.
Image I didn't cry either. Maybe it was because he reminded me a lot of our home teacher.
Image I like Christmas. Dad and mom hang all sorts of toys for me on a tree. What fun!
Image Last Saturday I went to my first birthday party (other than family). My friend Kayden turned one year old so his party was at Chuck E. Cheese's. I learned to drive a car...or at least eat the steering wheel.
Image I also sat in a car with my buddies Mason (left) and Kayden (right). I started crying right after this picture. My mom has good timing.
Image I'm so glad my grandma came back from Korea. Good timing too because my other grandma just left to go back home.
Image I like to play with Phatboi. Too bad he keeps moving away every time I grab his tail...I just don't understand why.
Image Today my dad got a new phone. I'm so excited because that means I get to rock out with his old one. Yippee!
Wednesday night I had a temperature of 103 degrees! By morning it was down to 99.5. So I am okay now.
Thursday night dad went down to Spanaway to help aunt Noelle and uncle Russ load their moving truck. Today they headed to Spokane where they will be living. I'm sure going to miss them.

Week Thirty-three

The week started with mom, dad, and I meeting grandma and grandpa at the tree lot to pick out a Christmas tree for them. (By the way, I was born on a Saturday, so my weeks go from Saturday through Friday.)
Image It smelled so nice there. And I loved gently touching the pine needles. I also got to see grandma again for the first time in a month! She was out visiting my new niece in Korea.
Image Don't I look adorable in my new bear hat?
Image I got to see both my grandmas this week.ImageAnd match them! :)

But this was my last week with grandma Sheila and aunt Shannon (they left Friday afternoon). Grandma Sheila is all done with her radiation now. Yeah for her, sad for me. She'll have an MRI done in a month to see if the radiation got rid of most the tumor. We will be praying that it did.

Then Friday night I went to my first Christmas party at grandma and grandpa's house. I was the hit of the party. I fell asleep on the way home (about 9 pm) and my parents transferred me to my crib when we got there. And guess what...I SLEPT THE ENTIRE NIGHT! Hooray for me! I didn't wake up until 8 am either. My mom was SOOO excited. This was the first night ever, and hopefully not the last.

Week Thirty-Two

Another action packed week for me. It started off with snow. My first snow! Yippee!
Image Then we had a party for my aunt Shannon because she graduated from BYU with her degree in elementary education! Way to go aunt Shannon! She wants to teach in the tri-cities area.
Image Then that night we all went to the stake center so uncle Danny could officially become a missionary.

The next day Mom, Dad, aunt Shannon, and I took grandma and Elder Despain to the airport. They spent a couple days with aunt Angie and uncle Tim's family before reporting to the MTC on Wednesday.

Image We will miss you uncle Danny!!

Then Sunday night my grandpa, aunt Celeste, and Min came over for dinner. I hadn't seen grandpa is 2 1/2 weeks because he was in Korea seeing my new cousin!

Image Wednesday my daddy got really sick (it was gross) so my mommy stayed home to take care of me. That afternoon my aunt Shannon came back from Spanaway, where she was helping my aunt Noelle pack for her move, to pick grandma up from the airport. So while my mom was making dinner, my grandma gave me a bath. I love my grandma, and my baths.

Image Thursday daddy still wasn't well, so my aunt Shannon babysat me all day while mom went to work and grandma went to her radiation. Someone told my mom once that I look like aunt Shannon...what do you think?
Image I tried avocado for the first time on Thursday. I can't say it was my favorite. Although, I still can't see the appeal of eating solids, I still prefer milk.
Image Mom had been mixing my veggies with rice cereal to try to get me to eat it better. I did like it a little better, but then it made me constipated. So mom bought oatmeal cereal and mixed higher fiber veggies with it. That sure did the trick. Friday night I was in desperate need of another bath.
Image Then mom tried to teach me how to play with Phatboi. But I think she figured out how to entertain the both of us at one time.
Image That was my action packed week. See you next week!

Christmas Lights Gone Wild!

This is my grandma's house. My Uncle Ryan has been working on this since August. And you can see why. Just wait until we get the other 2 songs. The fine folks of Moses Lake enjoy driving by and listening to the music with choriographed lights while sitting in the comfort of their own vehicle. Uncle Ryan has a sign that says "Tune to 106.7 FM" to get the full effect. Just play it and see what I mean.

Week Thirty-one

Danny gave his farewell talk in church. He did such a great job. He's going to be the best missionary ever!
I love my grandma, she gave me my wonderful family.
Image I love my uncle Ryan. You should see what he can do with Christmas lights!Image And my uncle Danny. Especially since he takes a turn feeding me when my mom is at work. (See how my leg is up, I do that all of the time. I like putting my feet on things and people.)
Image Uncle Danny, you're so funny.
Image I love my aunt Shannon too. She warms my hands after I get back from our walks.
Image Even Sky is part of the family. He's very patient when I try to climb on him.

Week Thirty

My new buddy, Sky, has been joining us on our walks. Which is good since Thanksgiving is this week.ImageWe all enjoyed Thanksgiving at the Nelsons. They are good friends of my Grandma. I had sweet potatoes for my Thanksgiving dinner...but mine didn't have marshmellows. ImageI loved having a four-day weekend with my mom. We spent a lot of quality time together.
Image Like playing Uno with the family. They even let me play!
Image We also celebrated Uncle Danny's 19th birthday. He received a lot of materials in preparation for his mission to Chile.

Belated Halloween Pictures

Happy Halloween...belated. Here is Dallin in his costume...he was a Seattle Mariner. The pictures we took earlier didn't really turn out, so now they are very belated. Enjoy!

Image Play Ball!
Image That pumpkin is Safe!
Image I wonder how this pumpkin tastes...
ImageYeauck!
Image A long fly ball to deep center? I've got it.
Image The best part about sitting in the dugout? Trash talking the other team. Hey batta-batta-batta!

Week Twenty-nine

I went to a sitter again for the third time in my entire life because my mom and dad went to the temple. My uncle Danny received his endowments in preparation for his mission. He is going to Antofagasta, Chile and reports to the MTC December 5th. I will certainly miss him and the fun times we've had.
Image This week we had FHE with my good buddy, Mason.
Image Wii had lots of fun playing Mario Party 8.
Image My mom took me on a walk and I chewed on the stroller the whole time.
Image Someday my feet will as big as my dad's.
Image I like eating food so much that I sometimes feed myself.

Image Whoa! These pears are tart! But I still like them.
Image I also like to play with my food. Did you know that carrots stain?
Image Hooray for clean clothes!
Image Due to the increasing risk of suffocation with blankets in cribs, my mom puts multiple jammies on me instead.

Week Twenty-eight

I HAVE A NEW COUSIN!!
Isis Ina Yoon was born in South Korea on Nov 4 (Nov 3 in the US). I wish I could be there to welcome her into the world.

Image Grandma goes home on the weekends to work. This week when she returned for her radiation she brought Sky with her. Image Sky is almost as fascinating at Phatboi.
Image We celebrated Alyssa's birthday this week too. All of my cousins think I'm so cute and want to play with me all the time.
