2012, Week Thirty-Eight

Keegan the cutie has discovered another amusing game.  Hide and seek behind anything!  Thankfully his hiding skills aren't fully developed yet, as you can still see him through the semi-transparent obstacle.
Image
Maybe he was testing out camo face paint here.
Image
He loves to eat his veggies!  Unfortunately, he developed a fever of 103 mid week and felt pretty lousy. Luckily, he was back to his cheerful self by the end of the week.
Image
The California Kellys came up to visit and they got a lot of projects completed.  Nicely done!
Image
Still no rain and mostly sunny days lead to outdoor activities.
Image
These three boys sure like to play together.
Image
Keegan pinned Philly!
Image
Orlando started the weekend with a winning tennis session against Alex and Doug.  Then it was time for Dallin to have his first pro tennis lessons at the Nickelodeon Kids Play Day.  He had a great time learning how to hit forehands, serves, volleys, and even had a few good rallies with the instructors.  Go Dallin!
Image
Dallin was then treated to a visit to the zoo!  It was astonishing how many people were not at the zoo especially considering the wonderful weather.  More opportunities for Dallin like playing with the goats!
Image
We have no idea where  or when Dallin leaned how to milk a cow but he was proud to show off his skills.
Image
 Everybody's going surfing, surfing USA.
Image
Dallin loved handling the cockatiels and feeding them up close.  It was an awesome experience!
Image
Going to the zoo is like entering a portal to another world full of exploration, learning, and fun.
Image
Dallin's favorite animals were undoubtedly the penguins.  They were the first ones that we saw and also the last.  As Dallin put it, "They are too cute!"

Some minor renovations to Dallin's room completed by the navy polo and khaki boys.

2012, Week Thirty-Seven

This cheesy grin greets us nearly every morning so our days start off right!
Image
Dallin is loving Kindergarten but still vaults off the bus and can't wait to get home to play with his Dad and little Brother.
Image
Mighty big shoes to fill but it's only a matter of time.
Image
 Happy family!
Image
Dallin's school had a back to school BBQ.
Image
He gets along well with his teacher who makes every moment fun.
Image
Orlando led the clean up and beautification of a local school in the morning while the rest of us did the Fair again.  This time with the Kellys!
Image
A cute moment that everyone enjoyed.
It was a lot more crowded this weekend and it took Orlando a lot longer to join us.  He managed to get Keegan to fall asleep while looking at the arts and crafts again.  Keegan did wake up just as they approached the award winning flowers, much to Keegan's delight.
Image
They met up with the rest of the ride-happy group just in time to see these silly boys living it up!
Image
 Group shot!
Image
Lastly, Dallin convinced Vincent to go on the fast ride with him and they both loved it!
Image
Just like last week, Mom gives the best rides.
Image
Lastly, the Mendenhalls joined us for a wonderful Sunday dinner and fun games.

2012, Week Thirty-Six, Part Two

We had a bubbly good time at the Fair!
Image
Unfortunately for Dallin, he couldn't experience the rides that he really wanted to due to the height restrictions.  We did find a few rides that he got excited about like the one below.
Image
All aboard the Sillyville train!
Image
If finding a ride for Dallin was tough, imagine our limitations with Keegan.  Thankfully, both of them loved the motorcycle ride.
Image
Dallin was expecting this baloon ride to be as fast as the one in Adventure City but he still had a great time.
Image
Grandma Denise and Keegan rode on a camel!
Image
Time for Keegan's nap so the Grandparents and Orlando enjoyed the arts and crafts while Tara and Dallin rode on rides, rides, rides!
Image
Dallin was excited to see the Chevrolet Camero but then was exponentially excited to discover the Autobot symbols on it.  "It's a Transformer Chevrolet Camero?!  Woah!!"
Image
Music time!
Image
A curious shop had the most unique hats including these wolf inspired ones.
Image
Horses.  Lots of horses.  And cows.
Image
And really ants-in-their-pants sheep!
Image
Why is Dallin looking awesome while decked out in protective gear?
Image
Because he went muttin' bustin'!
Image
Check out his incredible ride below.

Grandma Denise captured the perfect moment!  Nicely done!
Image
We were all so proud of him!
Image
While his wild and wooly ride may have only lasted less then four seconds, his next activity lasted nearly ten minutes!  He had such a ball.
Image
We had to get a picture of Dallin and his first upside down ride!  We were also blessed with an amazing sunset as our day ended.
Image
Fun as the rides at the fair were, they don't hold a candle to the ones that are Tara powered.
Image
Our last night with Grandma and Grandpa was all smiles and good times.
Image
And lots of zanny outrageous moments!
Image
Thank you for visiting us for these past few weeks!  We love you and can't wait to see you again!
