Puppy Love

The morning Bob and Cathy left for Seattle, they spoiled the girls and gave them both puppies that walk and bark!  We were all so sad to see them leave.  It was nice to have something for the girls to take their mind off of it!

Cuddly Bear

Grandpa Bean always buys a new stuffed animal for each grandbaby when they are born.  He went a little over board on the size this time, wouldn't you say?

Rock-a-bye Baby!

I've had this cute wooden cradle ever since I was a little girl.  The girls love it and have been begging me to put Miles in it.  When he was two weeks old, I decided that I better get on it before he gets too big.  He's growing way to fast!  As it turns out, it was a fabulous idea!



O Christmas Tree

We had fun decorating the tree with Bob and Cathy while they were with us.  We let the girls do most of the work, which means the decorations were concentrated in one area.

Fiona got the honor of putting the star on the tree.  Since Gwen has been nervous of heights lately, she didn't argue about it!

The children got their first gifts of Christmas- something we like to do soon after the tree goes up.  They opened Christmas jammies to wear through out the month.  Miles' fit him perfect, but the girls' weren't quite right, so they ended up going back to the store.  They are hard to buy for because they are so tiny!

We also gave Grandma and Grandpa a "25 Days of Christmas" book which is something I put together.  It has a scripture, story, and song for each day of December leading up to Christmas.

Since the jammies bombed, I was glad there was something else under the tree for the kids.  Santa sent us an elf on the shelf!   The girls were excited to have their very own elf to keep them company throughout the season.

First Sunday

When Miles was 10 days old, he made his debut at church. Typically people wait a little longer, but I couldn't wait to show him off! How could I not? I went home right after sacrament meeting, and then I didn't go for a few more weeks.

Speechless...

Try as I might, I can't think of a title for this blog post. Gwen handed this little toy to Miles and it went straight to his mouth. It is literally too cute for words!

First Bath

Miles' first bath was quite the affair. He is one lucky man to have two older sisters that dote on him!

Toothless!

Cute little Gwen is growing up so fast! When Grandma and Grandpa Bean were here, she lost her 2nd tooth! There wasn't a lot of drama involved like the first tooth loss. She was just messing with it at dinner and it came out! Can somebody please tell her to stop growing?

In the Middle

Poor little Fiona isn't the baby anymore. She's done pretty well, but needs some extra TLC. For a few weeks she wanted to sit on somebody's lap for every meal and she had a hard time obeying. Although she received "big sister" gifts from both Miles and Grandma and Grandpa Bean, she really loved this bear they got for Miles. Miles let her take a nice long turn cuddling with it. I hope she knows how much we adore her!

Bella Baby Photos

The day after Miles was born we had an in-room photo shoot. I LOVE that the hospitals do this now! Of course, I couldn't resist buying the entire CD. It would have been impossible to go on living knowing that pictures like this were not in my possession.
