We had a fun girl's night where we dressed up! (I'm a Ninja Turtle)

 Most years we paint our pumpkins and then use our little potato head like pumpkin decorations. This year I found some cool metallic paint! I didn't have paintbrushes though so they got to get messy!

 Here they are on Halloween! They are so much better at posing for pics now- I love it! Mia was Cinderella, Kyson the Hulk, and Kaden Iron Man!

Since we were out of town on Kaden's actually birthday we had a celebration after we got home.

Kaden had his friends, Blake and Michael over for pizza to celebrate his birthday!

 Then we went to iJump!

This past Saturday Kaden and I played hooky from soccer- I normally don't miss a game but I saw a special chance at spending some quality time with Kaden when I found out Barnes and Noble was having a "Star Wars Reads" day. Now that Kaden is getting older and into lots of other things and always at his friends' houses I am especially interested in finding ways to connect with him (and if it reinforces how fun reading can be then that's even better!) So here are some fun pictures from that day- he even went shopping with me for some shirts after and helped me pick one out :) He is such a good son!

The kids loved giving Ty his birthday presents!

Tyler and I had good birthdays this year- it was my last 20's birthday :( I got to go to a girl's night out the night before, then on the day I got to go to Red Robin and Tyler made me a chocolate cake!

Tyler had a good one too- we made yummy teriyaki chicken and then he had a banana cream pie!

The kids ran a 1 mile race last weekend- it was their first ever and they had fun!

Here's Kyson running- he said his "robot" legs were broken so he had to use his own- he did great!

Today the boys started school! Kaden is in first grade- it's his first time riding the bus AND staying all day. He is most excited to eat lunch with his friends. 

Dad made them a special breakfast for the first day- "Cinnabon" cinnamon rolls from scratch!

Kyson started his second year of preschool today too! He will go three days a week :)
