My mom wanted pictures of all of her grandkids since Maddy and Naomi were in town. It was fun to try to get everyone to smile. I am surprised that we ended up with such a good picture. Everyone looked so cute!!

These boys just love each other and love to hang out together. Dylan has to help me with anything I do with Drew and is usually the first one there when Drew is fussing to help him be happy again. Drew loves to watch Dylan run around and play and I can tell he can’t wait to run around with him. I hope that doesn’t mean double the trouble. Dylan is usually really careful and good with the baby but he gets this laugh sometimes and I know it means trouble. Either he is making Drew roll over or rocking him way to hard in his exersaucer or swing or something like that. I don’t think he is trying to be mean he just thinks it’s fun to play with him. At least Drew never seems to mind….he loves the attention.
Vegas tourists
23 NovWe decided to be Vegas tourists for the night because Dylan has never been to the strip. It’s not a really kid-friendly place but Dylan has been really interested in all the lights and big buildings since we have been driving past the strip on the way to the airport many times. Dylan was mesmerized by the show and just sat there. About halfway through he said Wow but that was it. I guess we aren’t really that good of tourists because after parking and walking around to the fountains we were done and home before 8:30.
I always wondered why Dylan smiles so funny!!
The best baby ever
20 NovSo I am so lucky to have the best baby ever. We went to the doctor today for his 6 month well check and the doc said he has a bad ear infection in BOTH ears. I was clueless he had an infection because he never acted like it. He had a cold about a month ago and has slowly been getting rid of a cough. But he is sooo happy most of the time. I’m glad we went so he could get antibiotics but I still feel bad. He is now 17lb and 28 inches. He is finally stretching out. At his 4 month visit he was in the 33rd % for height and he is now 93rd % for height. His weight continues to be right at average though. I don’t think anyone is surprised that he is going to be tall.
No bananas for Drew
17 NovDrew loves to eat and it has only been a couple of weeks since we started him on baby food. He has been eating rice cereal for a while but he likes the good stuff. Sad thing though is I think he is allergic to bananas. My mom was over and feeding him bananas, which he thought we pretty tasty, and he started getting blotchy on his neck and side of his face. So I won’t be giving him bananas for a while or not at all. I hope I am just over-reacting and the rash had nothing to do with the bananas because I know if someone is allergic to bananas they could also be allergic to other things like latex, avocado and more. Yikes!

Peter Piper Cheesy
3 Nov This was Kevin and Dylan’s first time going to a fun pizza place. We were trying to find something fun to do on Saturday night and since it was raining we thought it would be fun. Dylan called it Peter Piper Cheesy, I think he got confused because we were also talking about Chuckee Cheese. Kevin had just as much fun as Dylan and played on just as many games as Dylan did.
