Family Pictures

28 Jun
Here are some of the pictures we took before we left Las Vegas. We thought we could use a new fmaily picture since the boys get big so fast. Drew needed his 1 year pictures taken and Dylan likes the brother pictures so we had a long (well 10 minutes seems like a long time) session but I think they turned out as good as they can with what we had to work with. I’m not sure how good I’m going to be with new posts because my new camera I got for Christmas (which I loved) was found last week sitting in the diaper bag in a pool of sippy cup water. My dad tried really hard to save it but 😦 the camera is gone.Image

Life in Kentucky

22 Jun
We have been having lots of fun being tourists with my parents while they are in town visiting. We few of the places have been are on a boat cruise up the Ohio river, we went to the zoo, and a cute farmers market downtown.Image Image

ImageDylan wanted his picture taken here by the little Christmas tree.

ImageThis is a little bunny that was in our backyard. I still cannot get used to seeing all these animals around. There is all kind of roadkill as you drive around town. It kind of feels like we are camping.

ImageThis is our deck, the boys both just love being outside.

ImageDylan rode this carosel several times at the zoo. It was probably his favorite part. Drew looks like he enjoys it but the ride had not started yet. He freaked out once it started.

Image This monkey was fun to watch. He grabbed a bird that was walking by him and played with him. He held it for a while and they was rolling it on the ground. Poor birdie finally did escape and fly away.

Our trip home

18 Jun
So here is a rundown of our trip. We tried to take pictures along the way to show how the landscape changed. It was pretty neat.
Image
Image The first night we stayed the night in St. George and then met Kevin’s parents in Cedar City the next morning to start the drive. It was a lot of the usual. Desert and alot of it.

We got a flat tire on the trailer the first day about half way to Denver. It was not very fun to have to sit there for over 4 hours while we waited for roadside assistance (thanks to Budget). But we did eventually make it to Denver. We just missed seeing the beautiful drive there because we arrived at 1:30am. I hear the mountains are gorgeous.ImageImage This is the motel we stayed at in Denver. It was a place to sleep but I would not recommend it!!! Next to a XXX store and all.

The second day was mostly flat and no mountains to be seen. It was weird to me to look out on the horizon and it continued forever. I miss the mountains already. I did like to see all the windmills.

The last day of driving was nothing but rain. It was not so bad in the big truck but it was stressful for me in the little car. I need to get used to the rain and fast.

It got more and more green the closer we got to Kentucky. I absolutely LOVE the trees and green. I am lost and have no idea where north or south is because there are trees everywhere. The rain did actually let up the last little but of the trip and it was clear skies while we unloaded. We are so grateful for the safe and quick trip. Kevin’s parents were lifesavers to have along the way and getting our house in order. I will get pictures up soon of the house. It is coming along quite nicely!!

3 days and counting

9 Jun
Image We were lucky enough to have Portia, Lucas, Grandma & Grandpa and Great-Grandma & Great-Grandad come to visit us last week before we leave. I wish I would have taken more pictures. Here are the 3 boys with Grandpa Tim. Looks like Lucas wasn’t too happy about it though. 🙂
We are just counting down the days. Kevin and I head out Friday to Cincinnati. Kevin’s parents are coming to help drive and next week my parents are flying in with the boys. Man are we lucky!!

We’ve been busy

ImageWe went camping with the family in Utah over Memorial weekend. I din’t take too many pictures though because I ran out of battery. Dylan had fun in the field with his t-ball set.

Image I just think he is cute here with his hat.

Image
Drew got a fun pool for his birthday but Dylan is the one who has liked it the most.Image
Dylan has since got a haircut because it was getting just too curly and crazy.

Image Drew is really good with his balance and standing but he is just too lazy or scared to walk yet. He takes a few steps all the time but thinks it is way faster to crawl.
