Catch up Time! Sept.2010 - Jan. 2011

Are you comfy? Because this is going to be the longest post ever...I don't know what happened, school started, I got busy with 4 kids, life, maybe. I do know that we did not have internet for two months. No excuses, I know! But I am still alive and we are all still kickin'. Here we go...hold on to your britches!ImageLittle Leah being her cute little self.I am not sure why these letters I am typing are blue and underlined? HHHMMM???ImageBack in August we went to the Zoo and loved it, like always. My cute girls have grown up!

Image I just realized these pictures are a tad bit out of order, but oh well. Moving forward! We went to the pumpkin patch in October and enjoyed it.ImageThe girls had fun pulling each other on the cart.

Image Pure Sweetness!

Image Oh dear definitely out of order...this is Leah at the Zoo! She is an angel.

ImageOh yes back to the pumpkin patch...My sweet husband and I with our amazingly large pumpkins!

ImageMe and my 3 oldest girls.

ImageMy littlest girl with her pumpkin, she was pumped to be there, can you tell?

ImageCan I just say that my sweet little Brynlee is Miss Drama Queen! She loves to dance, sing, twirl, yell and scream when the sun is in her eyes, whine like her leg is being eaten off by an animal when her seatbelt is not working perfectly right (and she will yell at you if you try to help her), have her pictures taken, put dress up clothes on and curtsy, and give me kisses when I sing to her at night. I do love her!

Image My little nose scruntcher, Leah! She did this a lot for a small period of time in her long lived 1 year life. I had to get a picture of it.

Image Karissa, full of energy and life!

Image There is my sweet, little Bryn!

ImageOh you are lucky you get to see another picture of Leah doing the nose scruntch!

ImageThis is our home we moved into March 2010. Isn't it a lovely yellow? Well it is not yellow anymore. YAY! It is gray with a black door! I love it. I hope there is a picture of the finished product in here somewhere...

ImageDidn't I say she loved to sing? Here is Bryn sitting at the keyboard, playing beautiful music and singing at the top of her lungs! I love it!

ImageMy loverlies! Chris and I wish we could capture Leah's sweetness, smallness, happiness and smile in a bottle and keep it forever. We don't want her to grow up. Stay little please!

ImageWell what do you know, back to the pumpkins. Bryn and her pumpkin, all carved and ready to go.

ImageMakayla drew the face she wanted on her pumpkin and I carved (or daddy) it out.

ImageThis is Roo's. Can you see the eyelashes that she drew on there? Let me tell you...that is hard to carve. The girls love getting the "goopy" stuff out of the pumpkins.

ImageFirst day of school. Kindergarten for Karissa and 2nd grade for Makayla. They were so excited. (Boy they look tan. I guess we do see the sun sometimes here in WA!) They still love school. They say it is their happy moment almost every day.

ImageKarissa with her best friend, Lindsey. They are in the same class and love going to and from school together since we carpool, I love it too.

ImageLittle Miss Bryn with Karissa's backpack on wishing that she was going to school. Oh not yet, you still have a few years at home with mommy.

ImageWell there you have it. It is not the finished product but I think it is the only picture I have. You can see the door is still yellow, the trim is not done, and some of the painting paper is taped up. We love our new home and we are excited to not move for a long time!

ImageHoly cow, back to the pumpkins, once again. What d'ya know? Gotta have a picture of all three pumpkins, don't cha? Who put these pictures in here anyway? Hee, hee!

ImageHere is our little crawler and almost walker. Once she got the crawling thing down she was miss speedy gonzales. I love having a crawler in the house. I love when you can hear her coming as her hands pat the floor. I love watching her from behind as she crawls, her little bum goes side to side.

ImageNow on to Halloween...Bryn was a tiger, and boy is she good at growling like a tiger. For real, she does that naturally. :)

ImageThen we have our little princesses...Makayla is Belle (a costume my sister, Deana, made for her daugher about 8 years ago. Wow, it has held up well! Nice work, Deana!) and Karissa is a Barbie princess. As much as I would like them to choose something different then a princess year after year, I don't want them to grow up, out of the princess stage.

ImageYep, I was a witch. I am sure there are times my children think I am a real witch.

ImageOh and my little Leah was a cute ladybug. Chris was a pumpkin, you can't see it but he drew a pumpkin face on his shirt and he is wearing orange pants, yep, that is right, orange pants folks.

ImageMy mom, sister, Deana and I drove to Utah in October for my cousin's, Sarah's wedding. We had so much fun. I took Bryn and Leah with me. Surprisingly and thankfully they were wonderful. I am so glad that we could be there. It was fun to see relatives and to spend lots of laughing time with my mom and sister. I am so happy for Sarah and her sweet husband Denis. You guys are darling!

ImageOh my sweet Bryn. I love that little person! She was just a doll, prancing around temple square.

ImageSome of my wonderful relatives; Ricky, Uncle Ron, Candace, Jared, Deana, Lee and new little baby boy oh darn, I can't remember his name. Sorry! He's cute!

ImageDid I mention yet that my girls were amazingly wonderful on this trip...oh yes I did. Leah, just chillin' in the stroller, sucking her fingers, hanging on to her blanky.

ImageBryn was so darling dancing around the temple.

ImageOnce again, Bryn posing for a picture! Love it!

ImageThere they are, the beautiful bride and handsome groom, Sarah and Denis. Aren't they perfect? I must say, I heard people whispering, wondering if I was Sarah's sister.

ImageHappy, happy, happy!

ImageCute, cute, cute! She loves that blanky!

ImageLove the purple shoes and I love that Denis is copying Sarah.

ImageUncle Ron with Leah. Who couldn't love that little ball of joy?

ImageEating a yummy lunch at the Lion House.

Are you still awake, hanging in there?

Image We took the kids to the Puyallup Fair. A tradition we do every year. Roo was so excited that she was tall enough to ride this ride.

ImageThere is Makayla and Karissa anticipating their ride to start.

ImageBryn and Karissa had a ton of fun going around and around in an endless circle!

ImageWe ran into our friends, the Maners, at the fair. My girls think Brandon Maner is pretty awesome. Wink, wink!

ImageSo we had to take this picture...When Leah was born we called her Baby Leah, of course. Well Bryn decided to put it together and call her Beah. We all call her Beah and that gets shortened to Bee. We love you Bee!

ImageReally cool, a St. Bernard pulled everyone around in a wagon.

ImageThere you have it...completely out of order. Don't ask? That is me with Sarah and Denis at their perfectly beautiful reception.

ImageBack to the fair, Roo is trying REALLY hard to milk a cow. That's right we are raising our kids on the farm. Just kidding, it is a fake cow. Water comes out of the udder.

ImageI had to get Bryn in the picture with the pigs, I just had to.

ImageChris loves the chainsaw carvings! It is his dream to be a chainsaw artist someday.

ImageMakayla petting a cute little horse.

ImageRoo lost her first tooth. She was so excited and proud. Couldn't wait for the tooth fairy to come.

ImageMy sweet husband with my little girls in purple. I just want to squeeze them they are so cute. Yep, you too Chris! :)

ImageMakayla and Karissa have been taking a dance class called Barefoot Ballroom. They have really enjoyed it.

ImageMakayla looks pumped to be dancing with this kid. :)

ImageRoo is trying on her Halloween costume. Do you think that is out of order or what? I can't believe my girls are growing up so fast.

ImageBryn had to try on Karissa's costume...and pose.

Image
Precious!

ImageLeah looks so much like Karissa's baby pictures!

Image
Can you say "Gerber Baby"?

Image Brynlee playing with her little sister, asking me to take a picture. Love it.

Image
Wrestling.

Image Brynlee cuddling with Grandpa Conway.
Bummer, I just accidently deleted a darling picture of Roo and her cat Susie. She loves, loves, loves animals. Never again will I get this far behind again. Lame.
Image Leah loves her big sister, Makayla. I love her too.
ImageFinally, we made it to Christmas...Yep, they got a doll house for Christmas. It has a toilet that flushes, a piano that plays music, and a lamp that turns on. Fancy Smanch! Our girls only get the best of the best. Just kidding! Santa's elves worked really hard on this doll house. Wink, wink! They love it.
ImageLittle miss hoozit got a baby doll. She gives her babies kisses. So sweet!
Image Bryn and Karissa got dress up clothes.ImageTheir Aunt Karley made darling headbands. The girls always love getting girly stuff.ImageGreat Grandma Ernster was lucky to have Leah let her feed her a bottle.ImageThe girls were so excited about their stockings. The first thing Karissa said to me, " Mommy, I didn't get a rock in my sock." The poor thing honestly thought she was going to get coal in her stocking.ImageThere you have it. The tree and the presents. So magical.ImageMy brother, Jesse, with his son, Landon on Christmas Eve. We hosted. That was the first. It was fun.ImageGrandpa Dolan got the girls antlers and we tried to get a picture with everyone smiling. Not to bad, at least no one is crying.ImageNana with baby reindeer Leah. She looks tired. Leah, not Nana.ImageChristmas Eve, me and my family. I am so grateful for my family. My amazing husband and my sweet girls. I am so blessed.Image
Leah - cruising. She has taken a couple steps on her own. Don't grow up!ImageBryn loves to take baths. I decided to turn her into an Oompa Lumpa.Imageyes, terrible picture, but this was the first nigth we had the walker toy (thanks to Aunt Beebs) and Leah loved it. She didn't want to stop.Image
Leah got this huge castle for Christmas. She loves to poke her head out this window. This morning she said "Hi".ImageSo Chris has been talking about staying in a yurt for years. I always laughed at him, wondering who came up with that word. Why "yurt" of all words? Anyway, Chris found one to stay in by the ocean. Now you have to understand the week he was planning this it was snowing outside and I could only imagine us in a "yurt" (who knows what that is, well I didn't at the time) freezing to death with our little girls, hating life. Well I have to admit...it was really cool. I actually had to get up a few times at night and turn down the heater because I got to hot. That's right, there is a heater inside, a light and an outlet for anything else you would like to plug in. The girls loved walking out to the ocean and finding seashells. It is a great way to camp without setting up a tent and it keeps your little ones warm on a cold night. We had fun playing Candyland.ImageLeah and I at the ocean on our "yurt" adventure.ImageNaked baby in the tub. Leah loves taking baths. She gets a toy in each hand and kicks her legs like a mad man.

If you can't tell the quality of my pictures are not as good as the ones at the beginning, well when I was at my cousins wedding in Utah I was taking a picture of Sarah and Denis cutting the cake, while holding Leah and she did her fierce SWIPE and the camera hit the floor and broke. Bummer I know. I need to get a new one. So all of the rest of the pictures have been from my phone.
You made it to the end. Congratulations!
