We Were at Mom's House Last Night
We stopped by Mom's house last night to say hello, and to pick up Mom's old old old golf clubs. Colette and I are on the activities committee for our Stake Youth Conference, and we have our Youth Conference this Friday-Saturday and needed them for an activity.
Colette is in charge of a team-building activity that involves two 2x4's, a 6 lengths of rope about 4-5 feet long and the object to get 6 people from point A to point B without touching the ground. And that's all the instructions that they are given. If that's too easy then she'll initiate the "no talking" rule. That should be fun.
I am in charge of a golfing game that requires every member of a 10-person team to hit the ball exactly one time and the end result is "ball-in-the-hole". So if you hit the ball too short or too long - eeehhhh - try again, oh and it's a timed event. That sounds fun too. Of course I needed to get some golf clubs for just such an event, and didn't want to use my own, (imagine 600 lunatic raving teenagers with one of your prized possessions) so I went to the DI and I found a 3-Iron for $1! I still needed one more, so I borrowed one of mom's old golf clubs - since she hasn't used them since,...about the time I was 2-years old.
Back at Mom's, David and Hollie, James and Tara Jo, and Mr Pickett were playing Bang and they were playing a interesting variation, they were playing using 2 characters! Wow! Don't you wish that you were there?
Mom was chatting with her brother Darryl about the bond issue involving the new jail (?!?) and I'm sure that's why he called...! He had some of the same problems that Dad had this last week with extreme heat and power outages. They seem to be doing well.

Participating in Blog Experience
You see, how I figure it, is that if you all have the ability to add your own posts, then we can all enjoy each others comments and thoughts. In order for this to work I just have to add each of you to my list of authorized users, and wamoh - we can have a blog experience together.
What do you think? Is that something that we could enjoy?

Welcome to my attempt at a Blog!
Hello this is Mike, I have decided that the current format of Techmeyer.com has become insuffieient for the needs of the Techmeyer.com conglomerates. I have had several requests that I put more information, more pictures, more interesting things, and more of the conglomerates that participate in the support and sponsoring of Techmeyer.com would feel more involved and have more fun browsing and paroosing the contents of the Techmeyer.com website.
