Saturday's Adventures

On Saturday, Harry, Charley and I had a good play day.

First Harry set up his tent and had me put Charley in it with him. He got her toys and they played and laughed inside his tent for a long time. She loves it when he plays with her.

 

Then we went to our house and he set up a playground for her. He searched through his toys to get the ones that she could play with and wouldn't hurt her. She sat and laughed and played.

 

Next, Papa took them out to play in the pool. He taught Harry to go down his slide head first (thanks papa!). Charley likes to kick and splash and Harry loves to slide and jump and splash and laugh. He and Papa had fun.

 

 

 

After bath time and dinner, I had 2 sleepy kids to take home to Mommy.

And I was an exhausted Grandma, too!

Today I picked our very

first zucchini of the season. 

I love it when the garden grows!

Harry's first camping trip.

Tim and Harry went on their first

camping trip.

 

In the back yard.

 

Tim wanted Harry to learn what

 camping is all about so they can

go on the annual

 fathers and sons campout.

They played cowboy boot bowling,
Cooked their food in the fire pit
and ate by the campfire.

 



Tim hid a treasure

and made Harry a map to find it.

They used a compass,

and spent time gazing at the stars.

Harry slept in the tent all night.

He loved his first camp out with Papa.

They are already planning their next one.
