Hello Ruth, you’re welcome. vivalavoce is a website which streams (audio) operas + vocal music 24 hours / day. If you are in Washington DC, you can also tune in to its radio station. In addition, every day at 5pm PST, 8PM EST, it broadcasts a full opera from its extensive collection. You can find some info here:

listen to it live here:

Hello! Thank you so much ! I have found your ‘shores’ as Smorgy says and It is worthwhile. So many readings and listenings to catch up… and useful tips on new opera sites… well thanks a lot!

hello Yvette, welcome! 🙂 it’s a very nice circle of new friends i found between you and the WS gangs 🙂

it seems the WS gangs have ‘adopted ‘ me… I enjoy their type of humour and open-minded generosity. And the musical ‘games’ are so challenging…’a ‘polar research scientist’ … do you go and visit polar bears…as a pastime;)))
I will tell you all about pomegranates soon!(shall I send you a sample?)

It was wonderful to see both Ulisse and Poppea in such a beautiful venue. It was wonderful to see that small clip of the finale of Ulisse and thank you for posting it. I’m on the front row in the stripey top, taking photos of the curtain call! I bet the whole performance is on YouTube somewhere – I will just have to search for it!!
