Cartwright Family Pictures In Ohio

We are in Ohio visiting Tim's family! We are having a blast! We got to meet our little 9 month old niece for the first time, her name is Alyssa! Ella and Alyssa have had a ball together, they like to try and suck on each others hands and steal toys from each other! While we were all in town we decided we needed family pictures seeing as how Ella, Alyssa, and I were not in the last ones. Here are some of them! I will post more of Ella's first Christmas later!

October Fun!

since my last post, a lot has happened! I had my 21st birthday, Tim and Ella gave me a video camera that I can't wait to use and then took me out to dinner! The next day was mine and Tim's 1st anniversary, I got roses, saw Where the Wild Things Are, and then Ty and Cristi watched Ella so that Tim could take me out to dinner. I have to say I have the best husband ever and I love him so much! The last few weeks has been crazy but a blast at the same time! Ty, Cristi, Tim and I spent all week preparing for our Halloween Party we were having Sat. night. Which turned out Awesome! Tim and Ty made a huge spider web in our front room for us and all of our guests to untangle, it was a lot of fun! We also had each couple carve a pumpkin and make a personal pizza, we played another game and watched some scary movies! Everyone's costumes were great!
Sunday, Tim, Ella and I dressed up and went to my grandma's house for the annual Passey Halloween party! It was a lot of fun to spend time with the family carving pumpkins and seeing their costumes as well! I must say that Halloween is one of my favorite holidays!
We went to the temple last Monday night for family night, Tim and I decided to ask Ty, Cristi and their kids to come along, we all had so much fun! it was great to spend time on the temple grounds and in the visitor's center. we got hot chocolate after and talked with some of the sister missionaries! Ella's baby blessing

On Sunday October 11th was Ella's baby blessing, it was wonderful! Tim did an excellent job! I asked my mom if she thought Ella would fit in my blessing dress, so she pulled it out and we tried. It fit perfectly so I thought it would be really cool if my daughter was blessed in the same dress as me. So she was blessed in the dress her great great grandmother crocheted for me twenty one years ago. We had family over afterward for some food and fun, thank you to everyone who came we love you all! We are so grateful to have had Tim's parents fly out for the blessing as well as some family from St.George Drive up. Here are some pictures of the wonderful day!

Tiny Giggles!

Well it has been a week and seeing as how I am a woman of my word.. Here is my new post! Thinks are still pretty much the same, Tim is going to school and working. I am spending my time with the most beautiful baby girl in the world! Something I thought was so stinkin cute and really wished I had a video camera for today was.. Ella had woken up from a nap and I heard her just cooing and being happy so i went in and looked into the crib to find her smiling at me! I bumped her butterfly mobile and she stared at it, so I turned it on and she locked her big eyes on one butterfly and moved her head around in a circle to follow it, she also started giggling! It was the first time she has ever giggled and it was so cute! I think I left my Camera at my mom's house so I don't have any pics to post at the moment!

2 Month's old... and a Trip to the Canyon for Mallows!

Crazy how time flys! Ella is already two months old! We took her to her 2 month doctor appointment to get her shots and find out how big she was, She did really good with her shots.. didn't even cry really.. Tim put the bink in her mouth the second they were done and she was fine! Such a brave baby!

Head Circumference: 14.9 inches %50 range
Conclusion: Ella is short and chunky with an average size head!

We decided that on Saturday night we wanted to have dinner in the canyon and roast Mallows with Ty an Cristi. We all gathered our sweatshirts, an roasting sticks and piled into the van! We stopped an grabbed Wendy's on our way up. Tim and Ty built the fire while Cristi the kids an I took in the scenery! It was more chilly than I thought it would be and I was grateful that I had thought about bringing Ella's Eskimo suit! We had a lot of fun! Ella loved staring at the fire, it was the coolest thing she had ever seen! We defiantly have an outdoorsy baby! Thanks for coming with us Ty an Cris!

Quick update

Tim's school is going well, he is just getting used to his new busy schedule! He just got a new job still working for Home Depot, but now he goes from store to store to work with them on their inventory. He covers 5 stores in the salt lake valley.
As for me, I have just been home with Ella, watching her grow each day! I have decided my jogger stroller is my best-friend! It gives me something to do outside that Ella also enjoys! unfortunately, my new friend got a flat tire and I haven't had the motivation to fix it yet! Tim is going to fix it this weekend!
Ella is getting huge! I cannot believe how much she is growing! She is loving her bouncy seat but mostly just when it is in front of the TV. One of her favorite things is to sit in our front room and stare at all the pictures on the wall! She is starting to smile a lot! She smiles at me, her dad, and pictures.. mainly pictures of Christ. I love it! She is so smart!

One Month Old

Everyone told us that time would go by really fast! We just didn't know how fast! It seems like we brought Ella home from the hospital yesterday, and now she is already a month old! Everyday is an adventure with our little princess!

August fun!

Grandma and Grandpa Cartwright came to visit and see Ella for the first time! It was so much fun to have them here, we wish we could see them more often and were sad to see them leave. While they were here we went to the conference center and had a tour, we also went shopping, and went to a BBQ at my mom's house.






Ella has a little bit of a cold and her paranoid mommy had to take her to the doctor to make sure it wasn't strep or anything serious! While we were there we found out our little chunker is gaining more weight than we thought she may be able to play football with the boys! In three weeks she has gained three pounds! She is now 9 lb 5 oz!


















Tim had his 25th birthday on the 20th! We went to Macaroni Grill to celebrate! We had a lot of fun with all our friends and family that came! Tim's parents, my parents, Grandma Ida and Grandpa Joe, Marchele, Katy, Cameron, Jason and Christy!




We Also took Ella to the Viewmont Viking's first football game of this year! It was a preseason game and they did great! They played against Bingham High who are
number one in the state right

now! Uncle Clyde (aka Jason)did great! The coach was talking to grandpa Joe after the game and told him that the two best players on the field that night were Clyde (number 85) and number 2! If it hadn't been for him they wouldn't have done near as well as they did! The final score of the game was 8 to 28 for Bingham.

Here ya go mom! Ella is also a grandma's girl! My mom is so cute with her! Thanks for everything you do for us mom! you are the best grandma we could have asked for our little Ella! She loves you tons!

Daddy's Girl

Ella is getting so big already! We are so thankful to have this little princess in our lives! Neither of us knew it possible to love and care for someone so much until we held her in our arms! Ella has become quite a daddy's girl she becomes suddenly very awake and alert when she hears his voice. One of the things that calms her down the quickest is his singing she just loves her daddy and so do I, thanks for being such a great dad Tim I love you!

New Family Addition

Our beautiful baby girl, Ella Brianne Cartwright was born at 5:24 pm on July 30, 2009. She weighed 6 lbs 4 0z and is 19 1/4 inches long. More pictures and posts to come!!

WE CANT WAIT!!!

So I had a doctor appointment like I do every week to check on baby, only this one was different! This one I was informed by my doctor that the end is near! So near that we scheduled a date and time to be induced!! I can't wait and Tim is almost as excited as I am! (I only say almost because I am the one who has a little dancer in my belly) Anyway the date... July 29th at 8:00 pm! I am expecting it to take a long time but who knows! I will have Marchele post pictures on facebook and on here for me the next day or something! Wish us luck! we love all of you and thanks to everyone who has helped us get ready to bring baby home!

Happy Day!

Monday morning I had a doctors appointment to check up on the baby and myself. Everything looked great! The doctor said that Ella and I are both on track and healthy as can be.. She then informed us that I no longer have to be on bedrest!!!!! yeah! I was so bored! Tim and I are however starting to get really nervous! We don't know what to do with a baby! And we don't have her room done yet, I went in to worry mode! However I know everything will work out and I am so excited to hold her that my excitement is outweighing the nerves and worries!
