Pregnancy

How far along? 34 Weeks
Total weight gain: 19 lbs.
Sleep: Some nights I sleep pretty good but others I wake up either because of Braxton Hicks Contractions, cramps in my hips (I didn't even know people got these in the hips), or having to pee multiple times in the night.
Stretch marks: nope...hopefully won't, but lets not talk about my saggy butt.
Best moment this week: Realizing how soon this is all going to be happening. I have had a name in mind since I found out I was having a girl, but it was never a for sure thing. Since the name is now up on her nursery wall I think it's pretty safe to say we have her named. We will just call her Baby B for now.
Movement: You better believe it
Symptoms: Nausea again before I go to bed. Contractions. Lower back pain. Getting a little bit of that pregnancy waddle. Find myself grabbing Kaihe during the night to help me move because my belly is cramping up. Some days I feel pretty good but others I wonder how I am going to even make it 2 more weeks without her coming. I have so much to do to get our home ready, this last month + is going to fly by.

Kasey's Bridal Shower

My little sister is getting married this May! So excited for her! I haven't been as involved in helping her plan everything for the wedding like I thought I would always be. With how I have been acting this pregnancy (not much of a joy to be around) it's more drama than I could probably handle right now. But I did throw her a bridal shower a few weeks ago. A lot of work but so worth it! It was a lot of fun. Thanks to those that were able to make it.
Image
The theme was UDDER-ly In Love, so it was milk and cookie based with a lot of other yummy food.

Belly Picture

Image
How far along? 31 Weeks
Total weight gain: 16 lbs. I look bigger than when I was pregnant with Tre but I was shocked when I read that I weigh less this time.
Stretch marks: nope
Sleep: Usually waking up once in the night to pee which isn't bad. Switching from side to side is pretty hard now.
Best moment this week: We are starting to get settled in in our new house which means the nursery is under way.
Miss anything? Not that I can think of right now.
Movement: I am feeling her more all the time but mostly just after I eat.
Food cravings: Port of Subs and Starbucks
Anything make you queasy or sick? The smell of Tre's poopy diapers. They all smell like strawberries to me. Kaihe said that's a good thing. But no, it is an awful rotten strawberry smell.
Symptoms: Braxton Hicks
Belly button in or out: Out
Biggest fear for the future: Having to have surgery again after this pregnancy. Not being able to walk and take care of my kids.

Less than 3 months to go!

How far along? 28 Weeks
Total weight gain: 13 lbs.
Maternity Clothes: I had my first really frustrating day today trying to find something to wear because everything I put on was just squeezing too tight. Calls for a shopping trip tomorrow.
Stretch Marks? none
Sleep: I remember last time I lost sleep over hunger but this time I am losing lots of sleep over bathroom trips...yes. already.
Best Moment this Week: Buying this baby girls first baby items! I bought the crib bedding and some swaddling blankets. Next purchase...the crib.
Miss Anything? Being able to load up on sweets and not feel guilty. Starbucks. Cookie dough. And things like eggs over easy.
Movement: Not moving as much as Tre did. Maybe has to do with how much fluid I have in my belly. My doctor said I have a lot which is a good thing but it is definitely contributing to my size.
Food Cravings: Chipotle Burritos. Mandarin Oranges. Cream of Wheat.
Anything make you queasy or sick? Hamburgers. The Oven.
Symptoms: A little nauseous at night. Peeing every 30-60 minutes. Overall feeling tons better than I did four weeks ago. Not as much back pain or cramping just feeling weighed down.
Belly button in or out? Flat.
Happy or moody most of the time? I get overwhelmed very easily.
Looking forward to: Having the Nursery all ready and seeing my baby girl for the first time!

Baby Girl

I went to the doctor yesterday at 24 Weeks (6 Months) and got a bunch of pictures of our baby girl! Everything is measuring perfectly and they estimate that she will be between 6-7 pounds which I hope is true. Tre was 6'9" and I don't think my body could handle anything much bigger. I am a lot more nervous about this pregnancy. Things with Tre were very hard. Not saying that I had it worse than anyone. Having a baby is hard for everyone in different ways, but Tre was a lot for me to handle! I had the Version done (manually flip Tre from the outside), had to stay at the hospital with Tre for really bad Jaundice, Had to be sewn up in 3 different areas, Tre refused to latch on and I wasn't making milk (I was so emotional because I wanted to breastfeed so bad!), surgery shortly after delivery, and I never saw my husband (School/Job during the day and Job at night). I keep telling people that I am going to be stressed out/worried/emotional this time around but the truth is I already am and I still have a long time to wait until she is here. I just want her to be here already! I need to remember a few things about this pregnancy. I plan to do a list like this every few weeks.
How far along? 24 Weeks
Total weight gain: 10 lbs.
Maternity Clothes: Nope. Wearing clothes that I have had, just added some leggings and some black stretchy skinnies into the mix. That I luv. I do need to get a few shirts though, running out of options.
Stretch Marks? None. I need to start using my cocoa butter more consistently to stay on the safe side.
Sleep: Sleeping pretty good. Just have to hope that Tre doesn't ever wake me up at night cuz then I have a whole mess of problems with taking care of him, running to the bathroom, and eating all at the same time. =)
Best moment this week: The ultrasound! Last time I had one they told me that she had a cyst on her brain but this week when I went in it was gone! Vuala!
Miss anything? Running. I miss it a lot. I missed it before I was pregnant too. haha!
Movement: This girl is very squirmy. Its hard to fall asleep with all her moving.
Food cravings: Anything sweet or spicy. Loving chocolate. I still can't stand lettuce or salads (which I normallly love)...I try to eat healthy but I think I eat better when Im not pregnant. : /
Anything make you queasy or sick? It's always the same "burning" smell. ie. heater, stove, grill.
Symptoms: Braxton Hicks/Cramping (Feeling like it's that time of month), Lower back pain, Nausea, a lot of round ligament pain on the low right side. Symptoms are a lot more intense than my 1st pregnancy.
Belly button in or out? In-ish
Wedding rings on or off? On.
Happy or moody most of the time? The best word for it is Annoyed. I'm annoyed all the time. Last pregnancy I was happy. Must be because I am having a girl.
Looking forward to: Buying this girl something from my long list of "baby stuff to buy". 6 Months and still haven't bought her one thing! Waiting until we get settled in our new house in a few weeks. Then I am going to be going nuts with it.

This Time Around

This Pregnancy: 15 Weeks
Image
 First Pregnancy:
Image
I know last pregnancy I didn't show for awhile because I was So So Miserably wanted to kill myself Sick. But this time around I am definately showing at almost 17 weeks now. Ka'ihe keeps joking that it has to be twins, but no it's not twins. Last time I was on medication the entire pregnancy so I'm hoping this time that that is not the case. Zofran is too dang expensive. Word to the wise though. My medicine in Utah is like a fourth the price as it is in Vegas, so I get it from Utah, and they ship for free! This pregnancy is going by so much faster. Ka'ihe is working now at McGladrey and absolutely loves his job sitting at a desk all day. Weirdo!...and me and Tre keep pretty busy. I love that I get to stay at home with him. It would be so hard for me to leave him and go to work. Oh, and I finally went to my first doctors appointment last week at 16 weeks. Insane that it was my first visit. Last time by 16 weeks I had to have been 5 times already and in the hospital. I am so excited for this baby. I know I am going to be exhausted out of my mind when he/she gets here. Having a newborn and Tre to take care of is going to be hard but I am ready. I say that now.

The Boss Man

How cute is this kid. He went and found these headphones and ipod on his own and wanted to jam out. His favorite song is Justin Bieber "under the mistletoe" When he hears it he starts dancing away. He deosn't really say much but he acts so old now. Anytime I go anywhere people think he is atleast 2 and he's not even one and a half yet. He is 14 months in these.
Image
Playtime in the yard. His favorite time in life! That and being outside, sweeping the floors, unloading the dishwasher, and eating. Man this kid can eat so dang much. Loves food just like his mommy. Today we had Hot Dog on a stick with some tasty Lemonade.
Image
Thanksgiving at my grandma's ranch. Tre figured out that stairs make the perfect little seat for him.
Image
Just Loung'in.
Image
Cousinly Love. So cute! First time Tre has seen his cousin Lani, but he went straight over to her and sat on her lap.
Image
My grandma has these massive stairs. Tre found a way not once but twice over the few days we were there to sneak over to them and fall down. He had a massive knot on his forehead.

My Erin Condren Planner

A few days ago I got my Erin Condren planner in the mail! I was super excited. Ka'ihe was like," how excited can you get over a planner...it's just a planner!" Ha. Pretty excited, cuz planning/organization is one of my "things." But I also get excited about anything new that I get, even if it's just facewash. haha. So here it is...my super expensive planner-good thing I got it half off with a coupon code I found online! (seeyousoon25)
Image
It came so cutely packaged and with free personalized gift tags that I love!
Image
Front of my planner.
Image
Back.
Image
A folder and plastic pouch to store loose papers, receipts, etc.
Image
Special dates for each month.
Image
A quote and place for notes before each month.
Image
The days are divided into morning, day, and night. and there is a place to write goals and your to do list for each week, obviously.

Image
Pages of stickers that say: Party, Baby Shower, Hair Appt., Birthday, Game, etc. Plus pages of Blank Stickers for you to fill in! I wish I would have taken my pictures closer so you could see the stickers and stuff better. Also there are lots of pages for notes which is good cuz I usually don't have enough of those in previous planners. There are 2 things that I don't like. It is a tad big but not too big, and I am going to have to put something over the tabs so they don't get bent because they are just cardstock. But Overall, I LoVe It!

Halloween

Pumpkin Patch! We spent forever at this pumpkin patch trying to find the perfect one. They all were either baby ones like the ones Tre is sitting on or they were giant ones that I couldn't even pick up. We just wanted a medium one! So we ended up leaving without one but it was still fun. They had a petting zoo that we walked over to. Tre was So overly excited that he started doing this really deep grunting and reaching out to the animals. Haha! The guy next to us shot us a weirded out look.

The Hulk! I was so impressed with Tre on Halloween.. He is getting so big. We first went to a Halloween party at a family's house in my parents ward. There were a bunch of little kids running around and it was so cute because Tre was saying Hi ito them all. We then took him trick-or-treating around to like 10 houses is all but he held his bucket the entire time, and it was getting pretty heavy. We said once he couldn't hold it anymore we would be done. We were both surprised that he never dropped it. He would even walk up the driveways on his own and then once he got close to the people handing out candy he wanted to be held. After trick-or-treating we went to our friends Sean and Lauren's new house and had white chicken chili and carmel apples. So Yummy! Tre was so happy all night and loved all the Halloween decorations. Halloween was a success.
Image
I think my jack-o-lantern turned out pretty good considering I was using a crappy steak knife that Ka'ihe gave me to use.
Image
Grandpa and Ka'ihe wanted to make a homemade Sandbox for Tre because he is always playing in Grandpa's planter. Hehe! Tre was so much help, he loves helping! Whether it is working outside, sweeping the floors, or helping in the kitchen he always has to be right in the action or he cries until he is. He wears everyone out! Anyways, the first day with his sandbox he would dig out the dirt with his shovel and then go and pour it on grandpa's tools and other things in the backyard. Nice idea. Ha.

Baby #2

Ka'ihe and I feel like we don't really exist in the world lately. For the past few months we have been hiding out at my parents house. Kaihe has become the stay at home dad while I have been fighting morning sickness on the couch.
I am...11 weeks...pregnant!
When we decided to leave San Antonio during the summer, we Imagethought it would be as good of time as any to try for another kid. Because of how sick I was last time, we knew I would need help with Tre. Kaihe had a few months where he didn't have anything to do plus we were going to stay at my parents while we looked for a house...perfect =) extra help!
Some people think I am crazy for even wanting to have more kids after how miserably sick I was with Tre (I think my dad falls into that category, and maybe my husband 'He wants another kid'). But I know there are a lot of people out there that can't have kids so we feel blessed that we have the ability to. I was hoping that things wouldn't be as bad with this baby. I knew that things couldn't be as bad because I don't think it could have gotten much worse, i mean i couldn't eat or move without throwing up some days. This time I can give Tre baths and play with him for short periods of time. So even though I am taking meds a few times a day and throwing up some days I am so happy because I could be a lot worse.

Oh! And check out this awesome picture! Some of you may have already seen this on Instagram. I was 4 weeks here and this is how I found out I was pregnant.=) My boobs were on fire! My right boob stayed the same but my left one felt like it was going to explode. I only hope this isn't a sign that I'm not going to be able to breastfeed. TMI? Well...I'm having another baby!

Jabbawockeez WuT!!

Ka'ihe's brother and sister-in-law flew into Vegas from Hawaii for a few days. It was so fun to get to spend some time with them, we don't see them often enough. We went to dinner at D'Vino in the Monte Carlo one night. The next night we went to see the JABBAWOCKEEZ show. We thought it was amazing. Loved it! Love them!!! Our brothers and sisters were so jealous, as they should be. Ha! I wish everyone could have came with us.
