Hellblade is an action adventure video game series developed by Ninja Theory and published by Xbox Game Studios.

Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice is based on Celtic and Norse mythology and follows the story of a Pictish warrior named Senua, who embarks on a journey to the underworld of Helheim to save the soul of his beloved Dillion.

In Hellblade II: Senua's Saga, Senua returns on a brutal journey of survival through the myth and torment of Viking Iceland. Willing to save those who have fallen victim to the horrors of tyranny, Senua faces a battle to overcome the darkness within and without.

In Senua, Taking place after the events of Hellblade I and Hellblade II, the game is set in a fractured vision of purgatory, where a Celtic warrior (that’s Senua) must fight to reach the afterlife and reunite with those she has loved and lostost.

The games had the collaboration of neuroscientists and people who suffer from psychosis.
