The Big Comfy Couch

Thought this was too funny...

So, Noah watches a 30 min. show every morning while I clean up breakfast and shower. The show that comes on at 8 is The Big Comfy Couch. On every show, Loonette the clown stretches on her big clock rug. Well, this morning while I was cleaning up, I look over to see Noah "stretching" along with Loonette. Thankfully, the camera was nearby. It was SO cute!

Is foil acceptable for a one year old to eat?

Or is it frowned upon in mommy world? :) Kidding, kidding!
So, looks like Noah has found out how to reach the candy dish...Notice the chocolate already on his face? Yeah...that's I how I discovered him the first time...
Note to self: Remember to always push in chairs.

Oh Happy Day!

Image
My wonderful, handsome, smart husband gave me the best birthday present ever...one I've been dreaming about for a while....a Canon Rebel!!! I am truly in love...and my husband's great, too. :) Just kidding--of course I LOVE him way more than a camera...most of the time. ;) I've been taking pictures of my favorite subject (I know--surprise, surprise!), and I have actually been able to catch Noah at the exact moment he is doing something cute...and it's not blurry! Amazing! Seriously, though, great camera. Thank you, thank you Eric!

Image Noah is just as excited about the new camera as me!

Noah is One and a Half!

Image
It's amazing how time flies. My little man is 18 months old, and he is definitely ALL boy! He loves to run, jump, climb, dance, and play. He's into every kind of ball and will throw a flat out tantrum if we walk by a basketball goal and don't stop to play (which means anything held in a basketball gym is out!) He is obsessed with water and loves to splash and swim. He also loves rough and tumble play with DaDa.

As his independence develops, so does his sweet, caring personality. He gives the best bear hugs--he will be across the room and come running towards you with arms open wide. He has also learned to "smack" with his kiss, which he does often. Every once in a while, he even snuggles up into my lap for some cuddle time. He loves to smile and wave to everyone, including strangers at the grocery store. He will say "Hi" and "Bye" to pretty much anyone. He has his daddy's outgoing personality. :)

He still loves to listen to his favorite books. He will let you know which ones he wants and will often chant along with them. For example, while reading the book Five Silly Monkeys, when we get to the line "No more monkeys jumping/skipping/dancing/etc. on the bed", he will shake his little finger and say "no, no, no, no..." It is priceless!

His smile melts my heart, and his laugh makes my day. His life makes me complete, and I thank God every day for His precious gift to us!

Beach Bum

It's official. Noah has decided he LOVES the beach and is very excited about our move to Florida. Here are some pictures from our trip to Sea Island, GA.
