Sweet baby boy,This has been quite the month for you! You had your first Thanksgiving, which we spent together as our family of four. Your GiGi and PaPa came for a visit, too! We ate lots of good food, picked out our Christmas tree, and went to the beach. Unfortunately during this time, you also had your first big sickness. You had a bronchial infection that caused you to wheeze. We had to give you breathing treatments, which you did NOT like one bit! When we went to the doctor for your wheezing, we found out you also had a double ear infection! We had no clue because you weren't pulling on your ears, you didn't run a fever, and you weren't fussy. What a strong little guy you are!
You took your first "official" crawling steps...meaning your belly was off the floor. Ironically, you did this on the exact day your brother did (4 days before you turned 8 months!) Every once in a while you will crawl like this, however you still prefer your perfected army crawl. You are officially mobile with a capital M, and mommy is BUSY trying to child-proof everything...not that that stops you. You are fascinated by the fireplace cover, electric cords, outlets, pretty much anything off limits. But by far, your favorite thing ever, the thing which causes you to bolt towards the back door, is LEAVES. You love them. You can spot them from across the room. You will pull yourself up to your knees (another first!) at the back door and stare longingly outside at the fallen leaves. It's pretty funny.

Right now, we are busy getting ready for your FIRST Christmas and our first Christmas in Florida! You love looking at all the Christmas lights, and we love seeing the smiles on both yours and Noah's faces. We are so blessed with two amazing children. Happy 8 Months, sweet babe!
