I choose NOT to nap...
Instead of napping on Wednesday, Noah created an imaginary world in his room. At one point I walked in (after hearing a loud "boom" which is never a good sound), and he looked at me and said "Mommy, go in rocket wif Wo-wah?" Who knows where his imaginary rocket went, but it definitely left its mark behind! (I need to invest in one of those video monitors...hours of entertainment, I'm sure!)

Fun in the Sun
It is Hot, Hot, Hot here! Now that we can finally use our backyard, Noah has really enjoyed his kiddie pool. It came with a slide, a sprinkler, and a basketball hoop...all Noah's favorites!
Last Saturday we had our friends Susan and Benjamin over to swim. (I left out the slide and basketball hoop so the kiddos would have more room to play.) The boys had a blast splashin' around. We always love spending time with S and B!

Message from Bob
So, Noah has given me a new name...Bob. At first, we thought that maybe his nose was stopped up ("mom" with a stopped up nose="Bob"). But, no. Perfectly clear. Then, I thought maybe he created an imaginary friend, but then quickly remembered that he's only 2. So, we finally came to terms with the fact that Noah now calls his mommy, Bob. "Look at it, Bob!!" "Bob! Look me, Bob!!" Most of the time, I'm still "Mommy" or "Mama," but every once in a while, usually when he's really excited, "Bob" shows up. Bob must be the fun side of me.
So here are some (or really, TONS of) pics from Bob and her boys. :) Along with a little bit of what's been goin' on in the Hill House.
The boys in all their handsome, striped glory :)
Noah: "Gabe, hungy."
(I think they'll both hate me later in life for that picture.)
"These boots are made for walkin'...
And that's just what I'll do..."
Noah accidentally bumped Gabe in the head. And what did my sweet oldest son do in response? He took the band-aid off his hand and placed it on Gabe. "Here go, Gaby. Owie all better. Gaby, otay?" Ahhhh! (with a tiny bit of "ewww" too considering it was a used band-aid:))
Changing Gabe's diaper...
Such a big helper
Changing hammer's diaper. Apparently everyone DOES poop!
Practicing sitting up. A little help here, Bob...
Painting!
Waiting patiently... The master at work.
It was only a matter of time...
Doing what Gabe does best: Droolin' and lookin'cute :)
Sad...one of Gabe's hand-me-downs faced an untimely death when a certain 2 yr old forgot he was 2...in simpler terms, Noah broke our bebe Pod.
Mommy had enough foresight to hang on to the broken bebePod. I had a feeling it would still be useful even when the new one (aka Gabe's) arrived. Good decision.
Bros in a box
Kisses
Dude! So un-bro-like!!

Playing spin the box with Daddy...not to be confused with another spin game of similar name...
And not to be outdone...how cute is this face??
One of Noah's favorite games is hiding from the "e-phants" while shouting "E-PHANTS TUMMIN!" (aka elephants coming)...The elephant lately has been Oscar the pup, who is sweet enough to oblige. Noah literally squeals with delight!

Daddy's scared of elephants too...

I had a WONDERFUL birthday!! Thanks for all my birthday wishes! And thank you, family, for such an amazing dinner.
