1 of the "My Uncle" stories at OneTrueMedia.com

Rie's cheerleading

Kaleigh is growing into quite the young lady. She is in cheerleading and choir. She is still quite exuberant and fun loving. But, she is very serious about her school work and grades. What a smart girl she is!

As silly as she was in the above photos, here she is working on a Science weather project. She had to make a rain gauge and measure the rain for 3 days.

Christian turns 4!!

I can't believe our sweet Christian Hope is actually 4 now. We had a great celebration at Jump Zone with her pre-school class and some friends. They had fun jumping and playing until we finally went to eat and open presents. They were hilarious trying to all open her presents for her and we even had one blowing out the candles with her. It was so cute.
Our little baby is growing so fast. She loves to tell stories.... they usually start with "my uncle." We aren't sure where she picked that up, but she loves to tell stories about her uncles. Christian is so smart, she's learning her alphabet so quickly. She is tracing letters, putting puzzles together, and becoming this helpful little girl. Christian is a joy, she makes us laugh all of the time! We love you sweet girl:)

Kaden's Soccer Game at OneTrueMedia.com

Kaden and Soccer

Kaden has been playing soccer since August. He has loved it! He's been a goalie most of the time. He made some incredible stops and we couldn't be prouder of him and the team. We have only one more game left in the season.

Corps of Engineers Family Picnic

Today begins our summer! I'm finally finished with work and we're all out of school. Kaden is in a Junior Golf League and loves it! He had that today and then we headed off to Rob's work picnic up on Monte Santo Mountain. The kids had a great time playing on the playground and the few little games they had set up. Of course they were disappointed when we couldn't play the "Pie in the Face" game b/c we didn't have tickets.

It's not a company picnic without a softball game. Rob hit several out of the park but they only counted as doubles. He still did great!

2 of my girls

Ahh. I just love being the last person she sees as she goes off to dreamland. So cute as she chews on her lip even while she's sleeping.

On our walk around the neighborhood we ran into a little problem. Won't stop us, though!

Kaden poppin' his collar:) in his new uniform jacket. Next year Kaden and Kaleigh will both attend St. John's Catholic School where I teach. They have to wear uniforms and so I bought several the other day.
Image
Trying on his uniform for next year. We didn't have the belt though.
Image
Rie wasn't in the mood for a fashion show, so this is the best pose I could get. She's wearing a skort.
Image
Her final show at The Little Gym. This next year she decided to try cheerleading for the Pop Warner football at St. John's.
Image
Our first time in the pool. She loved it, just like her favorite time of the day... bathtime!

Rie's birthday party

Rie had her party at The Little Gym. She's been going there for almost 2 years now and her gymnastic skills are amazing. Before she had problems with just balance and now she's doing back walk overs! So this is the family before the party.
Image
Image
They had group activities and then they could go around to different stations and play. Here Rie was working on a back handspring. But, first the walkover.

McKinley rolling over?

NAH! We don't let her down long enough to roll over. Well, maybe sometimes we do. Not often though. Here she is a couple of weeks ago when we were giving it a try.
Image
We're over, but not without help.

CASA Garden workday

One Saturday we loaded up and met the Scouts at the CASA Gardens. This is a volunteer run garden where all fruits and vegetables go to home bound people, usually the elderly. We spent some good hard work and sweat cleaning up the garden, pulling weeds, and digging holes.
Image
Of course some of us just sat around and looked pretty.

Rob's Birthday

Happy Birthday Rob! We opened presents in the morning.
Image
My mom gave Rob a gift card to Dick's sporting goods so we went and bought a new club. Afterwards we headed out for lunch and the driving range.
Image
Our presents... my new phone for Mother's Day and Rob's new nano for his birthday. Since Mother's Day fell on Rob's bday this year we celebrated Mother's Day on Saturday. It was a busy weekend celebrating us:)

Of course half of the fun is just getting the balls.

Rob requested Angel Food Cake this year and McKinley got her first taste. Yum!
