TYLER GRADUATED!!

On April 6, Tyler FINALLY graduated! We are so excited to be done with that stage in our life and being able to acutally make some money. He graduated in Social Studies/History Secondary Education. We could not be more proud of him.

Easter

This Easter Kaiden and I went to church alone cause Tyler had to work. Garcias always do an easter brunch so he had to work that. Anyways, I was getting Kaiden ready for church and realize I dressed him up pretty much exactly like last year, so I HAD to take pictures!! When I looked back at the previous year I couldn't believe how much Kaiden had grown.

After church we went over to Tyler's parents house and had our own easter egg hunt. Shelley fills the eggs with money so that makes it more competitive.

Baby #2 and Valentines Day..

For those who know my past.. The first time I was pregnant, I miscarried around 4 weeks 4 days, just enough time for us to get excited and tell our family members.. Ended in a miscarriage. The next time we got Pregnant we waited till about 6 weeks.. that night I started bleeding. It lasted for about 2 weeks until I was released onto maternity leave at Skywest Airlines. Everything turned out great and Kaiden came into our family. In the middle of January we found out that we were pregnant with baby #2!! We decided to wait to annouce it just because everytime we annouce, something bad happens. Kaiden's Birthday was coming up so we decided I would be 8 weeks by then so it should be ok to annouce so we did. Valentines day came along and I did a fill on lashes and was hanging around the house, went to the restroom and noticed a little blood. I was thinking.. "great the same thing is happening like kaiden" but at the same time freaking out! Tyler had to go to work at Garcias so I was by myself. Soon the bleeding got worse. I called my in-laws; Stan and Bailee came and got Kaiden. I decided to go to the ER. I was sitting there all by myself and just had that feeling that it wasn't going to end well. Shelley had finished work and came to be with me. They finally got me in for ultrasounds. In between the two different types they had me go empty my bladder.. That's when it happened. I had to flush my baby down the toilet. I've had a lot of people ask me how far along I am now days and what i'm having because i really haven't made it public (on facebook) that I miscarried. It's definately something that isn't talked about, but it's something that happens alot more than people think. At the same time, it makes you feel like your broken and eventhough you never met the baby, you still have that sense of loss. Its something I would never wish upon anyone. So now you know.. Baby #2 isn't coming in September like we had thought.

Kaiden's 1 !!

This year we thought eventhough Kaiden was only turning 1, why not have a party with all the people that love him. So, we had a BBQ in February!! There was such a great turnout, we are so blessed to have some many great friends and family around us who love our son. Anyways, that night we made a speical annoucement. It turned out great and Kaiden LOVED his presents.

Kaiden for some reason doesn't like getting messy.. so when it was time for him to dig into his cake, he wouldn't.. He wasn't too thrilled about the lit candle either.. he's a funny kid.

Christmas '11

Kaiden's first Christmas was so fun but I'm excited when he understands the whole Santa scene and actually gets excited about his presents.. I think it will make it that much more fun. But this year we spent Christmas with the whole Casper clan in Washington.. Thank goodness that my parents live in my grandparents house or else it would not have been possible. Can I just say, I love it when we all get together. It so much fun now that we're older and there aren't as many fights. haha of course it wouldn't be a Casper gathering without any drama or arguments. But anyways.. Christmas Eve we went bowling.. I think Lynley beat me.. I'm pretty pathetic at bowling, but that's ok.

We then went home and opened our "pj" present. Mom got the grandkids all matching ones, girl matching, and boys matching. I think it was fun having everyone match.

Because Christmas was on a Sunday, we went to church first and then went home to open presents. We first let the kids open all their presents, that way, we were able to take our time to open our presents and just have an enjoyable afternoon. When we were little, my mom bought or made us these christmas jumpers. They were fun the first year, but after wearing them year after year, they kind of became annoying.. They later became a joke because Brianna had to wear them until she had outgrown mine. Anyways my mom and I were at a christmas show at the beginning of December and found these aprons.. THE EXACT material that our jumpers were made out of. We had such a good laugh that we decided to buy 4! One for each of us. They were the funniest gifts given. We only found 4 so we got Court and Holly Christmas aprons that looked like something they would like..

8 Months Later...

I can't believe I've been soo lazy /busy :)/ to write on my blog for 8 months.. Oh the things we have done, the amount Kaiden has grown, and the accomplishments we have made. I'm going to be making a few post and not just one huge post to catch you up on what's been going on in our family.. Starting where we left off.. Thanksgiving!! We spent Thanksgiving here in Idaho with the Mills side. After Thanksgiving dinner we went and saw Moneyball. It was a good show, Stan spent most of his time out with Kaiden.. He wasn't and still isn't old enough for movies. On Friday and Saturday we had beauty days. Friday was hair day and Saturday was Lash day. Shawnie (Shelley's sister) helped me perfect doing Lash extensions. It made me more comfortable and went public in December.

HALLOWEEN

Kaiden's first Halloween was so much fun! We took him to a couple of close friend's houses.. I loved it cause it was Ty and I who got the candy. Kaiden was a tiger so I decided to make caveman costumes for me and Tyler. I thought they turned out really good!! Tyler thought it would be cool to get a beard and long hair. Kaiden wasn't into it that much. He could give tyler bad stares. We ended the night at Mills for some frito and chili!

My new thing!

I'm always wanting to try new things... This time it's eyelash extensions!! It's been a work in progress but I am now certified. Here some examples..








I'm very excited about this. It's so much fun to do and I love seeing the girl's reactions when they see themselves for the first time after. I've had a lady came in with lashes you couldn't even see.. She never wears mascara and once she saw herself, it was like she was a new person. It definately boosted her confidence!

First Time!

I thought this was the cutest thing so I had to share really quick... Kaiden has never slept or has fallen asleep with a bottle, it's just something he doesn't do. Anyways we got home from church at 2:30 and Kaiden hadn't taken a nap yet. So I thought I would give him a bottle and put him to bed.. Next thing I knew.. I had an empty bottle and a sleeping boy.. SOO TIRED!!

Last weekend my parents came down for one of my dad's great friend's funeral.. So I got a shot of Kaiden with his Nana Casper!

I know, It's about time!!

I'm SORRY!! It's been forever since I have last posted on my blog, I know i'm horrible. I'm just the type of person who thinks that every blog post has to have pictures, and I haven't had any pictures. I've let other people take them and consequently, I end up with none. But I'm going to try and be better, Kaiden turned 7 months on the 13th, as far as measurements, he's pretty much in the upper 90's for everything. He is such a big boy and is eating solids, he goes through it like none other!! I love every moment with him. He has such a sweet spirit and loves to smile!! Tyler turned 25 last week on the 12th. For his birthday, he went to the BYU-Longhorn's game in Texas. Eventhough BYU lost, he still have a fun time. He went with my Brother Phillip and his father in law and brother in laws. We recently moved, it was time for more space.

4 Months & Lagoon

I fee like I haven't had anytime to update my blog! I'm a slacker, I know. Kaiden is getting so big and ROLLING OVER!! YAH!! Took him sometime to figure it out, but he got it. On the 13th Kaiden turned 4 months! Can you believe it? I can't believe how fast time has flown, it makes me feel sad, just cause I know it's only going to get faster. But he loves to talk, he's found his voice and speaks his mind. When he was 3 weeks old, I could never get him to take naps because I thought it was bad for babies to cry. Well my whole day was spent carrying him around, so I got the book Babywise and stared getting him on a schedule. After months of having to hear him cry himself to sleep, I can proudly say, he doesn't cry when I put him down for naps. Yipee!!

A couple weekends ago the Mills family had our annual trip down to Utah. We hit Seven Peaks and Lagoon. First was seven peaks in Provo. It was so nice, nana and papa mills watched Kaiden while the rest of us went down slides and got sunburned. Kaiden also got to go swimming. It was a little cold for him at first but then he eventually would rather be in the water than out.
The next day we hit up Lagoon. I am not a roller coaster person. When I was little my family went to silverwood, and if the ride was fast or went upside down, I wouldn't go on it. The only roller coaster I had ever been on was New York, New York in Vegas, But I went on almost every ride that everyone else went on. My favorite was Wicked. I first started out in the back row, but once I had been on it a couple tme I went to the front; So much better in the front!! Papa Stan watched Kaiden most of the time. He's not much of a rides kind of guy so he got kaiden all to himself. He enjoyed it very much.
On Sunday we went to Temple Square and got a cute family picture. We then went to this resturant, I can't remember the name but the stove is part of the table and the chef cooks the meal right in front of you... Very Cool!!

We had such a great time and can't wait till next year. It's so fun to go on trips with family. You get to know eachother so much better, not that I don't know them, but it's nice for it just to be us. Thank you Stan and Shelley!!

Our next trip.... PRIEST LAKE!!! only 5 week left!!

BUMBOO BOY!!!

Oh my goodness!! Can I just say, I can't believe how fast he's growing!! He's doing great! I've started work again and this past week they had me work 40 hrs. It was hard! Luckily, they are scheduling me less hrs in the next couple weeks before I go back to my part time. I'm so thankful to have family so close by that they can watch him, or else I don't know if I could do it. But anyways, he's able to sit in his bumboo now, when we went to California, I put him in Holly's but he had a hard tim holding his head up, but now he's holding it up well.. I'm loving his his cheeks and I found his dimple!! It's on his right side in the upper crease, right in the middle. I LOVE IT!!

1Year!

Yesterday was my nephew's birthday! He turned one. I was able to witness his birth. I still remember how cool it was. The funny thing is yesterday, Kaiden turned 3 Months. So they are exactly 9 months apart, so basically, i won't be forgetting his birthday. Happy Birthday Crew and 3 Months to kaiden! I love them both soo much! I couldn't see them not being apart of our family! They both have such sweet spirits, but kind of naughty sometimes. :)

Fresno, Land of the sun!

Before I start work up again, I thought it would be good to go see my brother Phil and his wife Holly and their two boys Bruin and Crew. Tyler couldn't come because of he had to work. But OH the weather was amazing! I miss that sun! But anyways one of the days we went to this park that had a pond with tons of ducks and geese. We got to feed them bread. Later that day we just hung out in Holly's parents' backyard. We all got a little burned. It was wonderful! I hadn't seen them since last august, so it had been awhile. Phil and Holly got to meet Kaiden and I got to see Bruin and Crew. Bruin is such a talker and Crew is huge with such a raspy voice. I love those boys! Can't wait to visit again!

EasTeR!

For this years easter all I can say is AWESOME!! Awesome husband! Awesome (cute) baby! Awesome in-laws! AWESOME WEATHER!! Oh my goodness, what a beautiful day it was yesterday! No wind! It was a miricle. Our day was fabulous except for tyler having to work for 7 hours, but it comes with the job. Tyler and Kaiden got matching ties this year. My sister-in-law, Holly, has a sister who converts big ties into little baby ties. So cute! I was very pleased. You can find her on esty. It's called Drapper Dude. Anyways we had a wonderful day with friends and family. We had an easter egg hunt at the Mill's. It was way fun, but didn't find the coupon egg which was a bummer, but oh well. I'm so thankful for the family that I have been blessed to marry into. They are so wonderful and a joy to be around.
