Ella...

Mommy is so sorry this is taking her so long to post. You are growing up so quickly and this blog is missing it all.So here it all is.

Image

You were 18lbs. and 5 or so oz. when weighed back in November. You were also around 29 inches tall. You were 75-90th percentile in height and 50th for weight. You are taking after your brother  tall and skinny little thing. You are growing slower than the other two though. I like you being my little girl. You are growing more hair, but it likes to stick straight up. I working on it laying down, sorry sweetie. You are so sweet and happy. Happy, oh you get so many comments that you are always happy. It is true. As long as you are not hungry or tired you are happy just roaming around the house or hanging out with us. You want to be doing what ever Max and Lucie are doing. You are trying to act so big, but you are still so little.

Your nicknames are Ella Bella, punkin pie, and sweetie pie.

Last week you have started walking. It is your preferred mode of transportation. You can't stand up without pulling up on something, but once you are up you are walking. Yesterday you starting walking faster, so i guess you will be running in no time. You can also climb the stairs in about 5 seconds. You have only slipped once or twice and it was off of the first two steps. I guess you get the climbing skills from your Daddy.

At the end of November you cut your first tooth. Two weeks later the second one popped up. I think you are currently working on a few more. It is a good thing too, you don't like baby food at all anymore. You want to eat whatever we are eating, the problem is you don't have any teeth to chew it with.
Image

You love to say ba-bu. We sing it to you and now you sing it back, all the time. You can wave bye-bye and you say bye-bye. You love to play with your baby doll maw maw got you for Christmas and love your Elephant Grandma Carollyn got you. It goes everywhere with you, it is so cute to see you cuddle up with it. I just need to find a second one in case we loose it, it is a limited edition.

You love to dance. It only consists of you either bouncing while holding onto something or waving your arms up and down, but those are your dance moves. I love them.

Max and Lucie love you. They love you to be a part of what they are doing, most of the time. Max will call for you to follow him or sometimes he tries to help walk to where he wants you to be. That makes me nervous, so he usually get into trouble. They just think since you are starting to walk you are bigger, but you are still my baby and little.

Ella Bella, I love you so much. You are sweet little girl. Heavenly Father pulled through with his promise and I couldn't have asked for a better baby. You are joy in our lives and make our family complete. Love you, Mommy

Here she is with rollers in her hair. She actually did pretty well with them.

rollers removed. She is going to hate me later for this picture.

Harry Potter, he later changed to Malfoy.

Football games. The first one I took Lucie to go see our two local high schools play against each other. We have kids from church in both marching bands. Lucie had a blast and didn't want to go home.

Image
it was also cold so I bundled her up in a blanket.

Max's turn for a little league football game. One of our friends make it to the final championship game and we went to watch it.
Next Max and I went on a field trip to Bear's Den in Virginia. It was a beautiful place and I want to take the rest of the family back next year.

Next is Max's Thanksgiving Program. We are so proud of him. He has grown up so much in a year last year he had to have his teacher help him through it all and he didn't even do much. This year he walked in on his own and did all the songs. He stood on his and didn't run around. He is a great kid!

Some of Max's Lego creations. This is Endor from Star Wars. He is so good with his legos. I personally think he is just as good as any 6 year old. It just frustrates me how they put age limits on the activities at the lego store to 6 and older. The other day he pretty much put together a whole set that was for 7-14! Take that Lego!

Decorating the tree. We put this baby up 2 weeks before Thanksgiving. We have some presents under there and the kids don't even mess with them. I think this might be their favorite holiday. Lucie loved decorating the tree. She kept coming back to the box of ornaments asking for more. She was sad when they were gone. We have a bigger tree this year and we could have used the extra ones.
