Pictures

It has been forever since I have done anything with the blog page.  I wanted to post a few pictures of the kids.  It takes forever for my computer to load them up but hopefully in the next few days I can get a few more on.

Update

It has been some time since I have updated this. Much has been happening in our family. Dana turned 8 on July 22nd.  On July 30th Dana was Baptized.  The Smokey Valley Branch does not have a baptismal font so we were able to have her baptism right at our house in the blue water trough that the kids use as a swimming pool. It was a very neat experience.  Poor Dana woke up not feeling very good.  Lots of friends and family traveled a long way to get there to support Dana so we couldn't move it to a different day.  She did her best to put on a happy face even when she was running a fever.

The first of November we started a new job in Starr Valley, Nevada. It has been a pretty crazy move. The kitchen in the house we are living in is getting remodeled so we still haven't been able to get unpacked all the way. It will be very nice when it is done though.
The kids are getting so big. Morgan and Dana are going to school in Wells. So far they are enjoying it. Casey is a big help his dad and me while Cory is just into everything. The little turkey took his first steps the day of Dana's baptism and has not slowed down. It takes all of us just to keep up with him.

Crawling

For the past 3 weeks Cory has decided that he wants to crawl. I am not too excited about this. I was hoping that just one of my kids would be content to just sit there and play. NOT SO!! He started out doing a lot of push ups. Then he would take a few strides and then fall on his belly. He is now everywhere! I no longer have a harmless and helpless little baby. I am afraid that my little chubby guy is not going to stay chubby much longer.

School Pictures

I was not aware that the school did Spring Pictures. If I had known this at the first of the year we would have waited to buy pictures. These pictures turned out a lot better than the ones taken at the beginning of the year.

Casey

One day after visiting the RO where older kids were riding their bikes, Casey informed me that he wanted to learn to ride a bike. I told him that later that afternoon we would get a bike ready for him to ride. I had to take parts from two bikes to make one working bike which took me a little while. The whole time I had a little boy that was very impatient with me. After getting a working bike, I tried to tell Casey that it might take a little while to learn to ride it. I told him that there would probably be a few crashes. He looked up at me and informed me that he was a stinken, rotten, tough cowboy and that he would be just fine. Well he jumped on the bike and within minutes was riding around like a pro. I guess if he puts his mind to something he can get it done.

Casey has named his bike Speed. He and Speed have gone a lot of miles in a short amount of time.

Catch Up

Here are a few pictures to catch everyone up. Cory is growing a ton. I love the pictures of him and Casey. I seem to remember a picture of my sister Allison and me in the same pose. I am smiling like crazy and she is screaming.

Going on a trip

One day I looked up and saw this.

When I looked in the box I found this. I guess Casey decided to take Cory on a trip complete with map and everything.
