Shaunie was in the FFA Sweetheart Contest it involved an Obstacle coarse with a horse n' buggy, straw bales, pig chasing, running through the poo, milk chug, etc. Timed events. This year was a up and down yr with our calves. Shelby ened up having the most bad luck of any. She got a set of twins, bottled fed one, he didn't do so good so put an IV in him. One of hers broke its leg, took that one to the vet for cast:( With some of the bad luck we also got some pretty good calves.

We can do this TOGETHER!!

Wow can I just say Life can be Turned upside down Quickly!! But our Positive Attitudes, Thoughts, Prayers and Faith can keep it Right side up...
Scott has not felt good for some time.... And the first of October it hit him really HARD that there was definitely somethings Wrong... We spent 5 weeks every 12 hrs. 2 to 3 hrs @ a time at the Hospital getting Strong Doses of Antibiotics through his I.V. We grew to Love the Staff at BRVH they pampered at scott's every need.
This really took a toll on our normal busy routine of life. The Kids Adjusted Well. We have had many meals brought in, phone calls of concern and HELPING HANDS to our Home and Appreciate them ALL.. Scott and I have been told many times lately that we are the "most dependent people"and that We need to let others help us and serve us. That is super hard for Both Scott and I we don't want to burden others cuz EveryOne has there own busy crazy lives but we are definitly working on letting others help.
Scott was Diagnosed with Alpha ONE Anti-trypsum Deficiency... His liver is shrinking therefore he is needing a Liver Transplant. He only has 1/3 of his liver left and will need a full cadavor Liver Transplant. The Dr. feels confident about things. So we are putting our Faith in her.
On top of his liver disease he has lymphadema in his legs, and cellulitus which has become extremely painful and created lots of infection in his body. So with all his infection it has put a slow mode of getting all tests done, to continue with the process of his transplant. He is finally getting some energy and strength back and hope that its a good sign to continue with the testing. He needs to get on the liver transplant list quickly.

My dad and Chad came to help us fix the corrals it was a cold rainy day but the work got done and it looks Awesome!! Doug and Roger came the next weekend and helped pour a pad of cement for the feed.. THANK YOU FAMILY FOR YOUR HELP!!

Image

Grandpa Doug usually don't stay for Sacrament mtg because its during milkin time and this paticular Sunday was our Primary Program which mick participated in. They had the boys and dads sing, Grandpa filled in Dads spot and sang with Mick then all the boys went to help Grandpa Milk after church...THANK YOU GRANDPA AND BOYS!!

Image

The BIG Day at the Intermountain Medical Transplant Center.. This was not the easiest dr. visit. Our appt was @ 9 a.m. and we didn't get done until 4:30 p.m. We recieved LOTSA info in a Day that would soon change our Lives... Emotions were at the surface for each of us... But we know we can get through this TOGETHER!!
