I wrote this post on May 5th but didn't have time to post the pictures. Today is June 13th. Hahaha. Since then Cathy has redone my blog and I love it. "The Fastlanes rocking your world". (Sean is known by many as "The Fastlane" for those of you who are confused. A nickname from his college days and his band "Ironheart". I fell in love with The Fastlane. I still am in love with the Fastlane.) So, here's my post from May 5th. Maybe sometime I'll get caught up:)
Life has been crazy lately. The boys and I took a trip to CA in March to see my sweet Nephew Porter get baptized and to be there when my brother Ethan went through the Newport Beach Temple. We went back a couple of weeks later for Ethan's Mission Farewell. We had some fun farewell parties for him, went to the beach, Sean went to Coachella, and we spent a few hours at Disneyland before heading home. My parents and Ethan drove up here the next day. We had a birthday party for Johnny, Judd and Ethan at Fat Cats in Salt Lake Tuesday night before Ethan checked into the MTC on Wednesday. We are so proud of Ethan for going on a mission but we are sure going to miss him! Cordoba, Argentina is lucky to have him! (If you want to write to Ethan you can do so through mtcdelivery.com. They print the letters for you and deliver them that day. pretty cool. His mailbox # is 269)
On April 21st my sweet Johnny turned 5. I can't even begin to express how much I love this kid. He is one of the greatest blessings in my life. He is such a unique boy (and by unique I mean both amazing and weird!) with so much personality. My heart is so full of love for him. He's been wanting to have a birthday at Chuck E Cheese forever. How could I say no? His buddy Max came, along with some cousins and he was in heaven!
And, on top of all of that craziness I have been working extra hours at work. Crazy I tell you!
Sean and our friend Ryan (Max's dad) took the boys to the BYU Spring Scrimmage
