Virtual Classes

Whether you’re brand new to sewing or you’ve been away from your machine for years, this beginner-friendly course is designed to build your confidence from the very first stitch.

Each week, you’ll receive a pre-recorded video lesson that walks you through the week’s skill or project in detail. These lessons are yours to watch on your schedule — no rushing, no pressure. You’ll also receive printable guides and homework so you know exactly what to practice and how to prepare for the next session.

You’ll Learn How To:

  • Thread your machine and wind a bobbin with ease
  • Navigate basic machine settings
  • Achieve consistent seam allowances
  • Sew straight, curved, and corner seams
  • Identify fabric grain + selvages
  • Cut and pin fabrics using various cutting tools
  • Finish seams + pressing technique

This course combines the best of both worlds: the flexibility of learning on your time and the support of a community cheering you on. Taught by Jen Taylor, founder of Thimble Bee’s Sewing School with over a decade of in-person teaching experience, this course is created to meet you right where you are — and guide you every step of the way.

Supplies Needed: A full supply list will be emailed one week before class begins.
