I took a break from doing root canals and Charity traded in her subway commuter card for an all access gold plastic wrist bracelet.
We arrived in the Dominican Republic on Saturday and went straight to the beach. 80 degree weather was too hard to resist. We both got fried the 3rd day. Charity had food poisoning Monday and Tuesday which was a bummer but she refused to miss out on much beach time. We spent most of our time on Serenity Beach - so nice!!

Sept 11th
Apple Picking
I'm a little behind on my posts, but here are a few pictures from October of this year. Charity and I went out of the city to some holiday fun.
The first few pictures are from a Barn Sale that we stopped at on the way. Charity was SO excited to check out all the stuff they had there for sale. She even picked up a few items.

This was a HUGE BBQ's turkey leg.

Someone in the crowd had this very tiny dog, so we couldn't pass up the photo op. The dog owner was cracking up pretty bad too.

This is as close as us city folk come to wildlife.

A beautiful view of the city on the drive home.

A new post! Finally. So here are a few pictures that we taken a little while ago, before the cold weather started. We met up with some friends in the ward to go explore the city. We ended up taking a water ferry up the East River. We stop at about 5 different locations, each had something unique to offer.

The vest
So here's my new riding vest. Funny since i don't own a motorcycle yet, but i am preparing.
Charity help me pick out a few patches and we had it finished while we were at the last Rolling Thunder. Of course the vest is an ongoing project, adding patches here an there.

I didn't have it finished in time to ride with it at Rolling Thunder, however the vest got it's maiden voyage in Utah. When we went out to spend time with Charity's family, i went on a half day biking trip with two good friends of my from college and my father in law.

Turcks and Caicos....
...was amazing! Who can complain about 83 degree water?
We stayed in a condo type resort so we could cook our own food. Thats one of the problems with Turks and Caicos, they basically have to import all the food goods, so it's about all expensive as airport food.
The second day we decided to go for a hike to a beach on the south side of the island. We found this trail that brought us out to the beach.

Charity and I really wanted to do some SCUBA diving together while we were there, but Charity hadn't been in a while. She decided to take a refresher course, which only lasted about 15 minutes since she still felt pretty comfortable with things.
This is an octopus we found while doing a night dive. The dive master held him in his hand so we could all get good picture.
