WWOOF (Worldwide Opportunities on Organic Farms) is a non-profit educational and cultural exchange program that connects visitors with organic farms in over 100 countries.
WWOOFers take part in farm activities for part of the day, alongside their hosts, in a spirit of mutual learning, trust, and respect. Hosts share their knowledge and offer room and board to welcome WWOOFers.
As a WWOOFer:
• Discover, contact, and visit organic host farms around the world
• Save hosts you’re interested in and plan your upcoming visits
• Exchange messages with hosts to prepare your stay
• Connect with fellow WWOOFers via the WWOOFer list
• Learn from farmers and gain hands-on experience with organic practices

Much easier to be in touch, message and view profiles with WWOOF'ers. It's hard to write long messages though, as the screen doesn't scroll well with what your writing, at least on my phone. Being able to see WWOOF'er hosts from all over the world is really cool.

What an amazing first experience working on Stephanie's homestead. Hurricane Helean did a number on her place but she has stuck it out through the tough patches and is well on her way to having a incredible place . I can't thank her enough for the opportunity to lend a hand.
