Award-winning actress Drew Barrymore shares funny, insightful, and profound stories from her past and present told from the place of happiness she's achieved today.

Wildflower is a portrait of Drew's life in stories as she looks back on the adventures, challenges, and incredible experiences of her earlier years. It includes tales of living on her own at 14 (and how laundry may have saved her life), getting stuck in a gas station overhang on a cross country road trip, saying goodbye to her father in a way only he could have understood, and many more adventures and lessons that have led her to the successful, happy, and healthy place she is today. It is the first book Drew has written about her life since the age of 14.

Would you consider the audio edition of Wildflower to be better than the print version?

I haven't read the print version but listening to Drew's voice is more fun than reading it on a page.

What did you like best about this story?

I liked how honest she was about her life and struggles and how far she's come, and how she has found happiness.

What about Drew Barrymore’s performance did you like?

She has such an honest and nice voice to listen to, and I like when she starts talking faster and really gets into the performance of whatever story she is telling.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

It was actually easy to start and stop as needed and pick up from where I left off.

Any additional comments?

I would skip through and listen to sections again, it was entertaining and interesting to hear about Drew's life.

went by super fast and like always love her positive vibe, however I felt her stories a little bit dull where obviously her life doesn't seem that way...would've been interesting to see how she was able to come along instead of small stories ode to someone...like if she was taking care when her children would read this. more of a journal than a book...nonetheless I still love her.

I just love Drew Barrymore
