Woman sentenced for 2025 Huntsville deadly wreck

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WAFF) - A woman was found guilty of murder and assault stemming from a 2025 Huntsville wreck.
Chaquila Hodo was sentenced to 20 years on one count of murder and three counts of assault.
The 2025 wreck killed Labronte Alexander Smith, 27, and injured five others.
As a part of her sentence, Hodo will have to be a part of a long-term substance abuse program.
