Cafe Weekend

Join us at Café Weekend for a Wellness Wednesday! Café Weekend is typically closed on wednesday for our regularly selfcare days, but since we will be in for <a href="https://tinyurl.com/4vh3kdrv" title="https://tinyurl.com/4vh3kdrv" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Bike Everywhere Day </a>celebration. We are inviting neighbors, artists and cyclists to bike in and join us for a Wellness Day together. Healing Artist - Jen Moore will be offering a community sound bath- an immersive experience full of soothing sounds intended for balancing and relaxing the nervous system (starts 11am, arrive by 10:45am- RSVP online or at celebration station)All cyclists stopping by the celebration station (8am-10am) as well as RSVP for the Sound Bath will enjoy a free drip coffee / cold brew sample thanks to <a href="https://www.instagram.com/cafeweekend/" title="https://www.instagram.com/cafeweekend/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Café Weekend</a> and local roaster Caffé Vita. Bike information and DIY support on your bicycle to prepare for Summer riding will be supported by The Bikery Seattle. A volunteer bike kitchen to self empower cyclists and their knowledge on bike repair and maintenance.If you are biking in, thanks to Cascade Bicycle - Free Swag gifts will be available for those that check-in with their bikes beforehand at the Celebration table.Schedule of Events -8am - 10am (free) : commute to Work or to Café Weekend for Wellness Wednesday, invite your friends / co-workers for a bike Meet-up and join them and the Bikery for our Celebration Bike Everywhere Station (outdoors). check out the other bike stations on your way.10:45am - 12pm ( Free/ Sliding Scale - Ticketed RSVP): take a lunch break and join us for a Sound Bath with healing artists Jen Moore (bring: yoga mat, blanket, pillow, wear comfortable clothes). Guests will be laying on the floor or sitting comfortable during the sound emersion for 45 min of self-care and relaxation. Arrive by 10:45am to find a comfortable area in the Hiawatha Community room. Suggested donation venmo or cash at the door. (see RSVP tickets). 10:45am - 11:00am self-guided pre-stretch. Some yoga mats &amp; blankets are available on a first come first served basis, please arrive early if you need a mat. Enjoy a free cold brew and community conversation with attendees 11:45am - 12pm. 3:30pm Bike Meet-up at Café Weekend:If you are not able to attend the earlier events but still want to get on a group ride.Bike north to Fremont along the waterfront. Coffee &amp; Cold brew will be provided atthe end of the ride. *Café Weekend will not be open for regular coffee hours during the event.

Bike Everywhere Day (stop by anytime on bike - Free Event w/ Cascade Bicycle) 

Jen Moore is a musician and healing arts practitioner born and raised in the Northwest. She will be offering a community sound bath (45min) - an immersive  experience full of soothing sounds intended for balancing and relaxing the nervous system. All guests must RSVP online or in person before 10am at the Bike Celebration Station- Arrive at 10:45-11am to find a spot. Sound Bath will be offered in our Hiawatha Community Room. Sliding scale suggested donation $10-20 and a pay what you can option (no min/max) via Cash or Venmo at the door. Please  bring: Yoga mat, Blanket (if desired), Pillow, Wear Comfy clothes, Water.
