Immensely Profound Wisdom for Life
Reviewed in the United States on November 24, 2018Dr. Ivan Misner’s books are typically business-based and often focused on a particular aspect of building one’s sales through networking/word-of-mouth/referrals. In fact, as Founder and Chief Visionary Officer of BNI, the world’s largest formal referral organization, he’s known as (and been called by CNN) the “Father of Modern Networking.” I’ve read - if not all - practically all of his books and learn tons from every one of them. So I was very excited to learn that he had a new one coming out and immediately pre-ordered.
Well, I just finished it. WOW! Coauthored with fellow entrepreneurial icons, Stewart Emery and Rick Sapio, "Who's in Your Room: The Secret to Creating Your Best Life” might just be his most important book yet! (and that's saying a LOT!) It’s a brilliant look at just how significantly we are are affected by those who come into our lives, (enter our room) whether they are consciously “invited” in or not. And, that’s just the beginning. The authors take us through not just the psychology of this concept but how to effectively work within this context and take control over our lives and relationships.
At only 79 pages it’s a quick read, but don’t let that fool you. This is a powerful, powerful teaching; one of those books you’ll want to buy for and gift to every person you love and whose lives you want to be happy and fulfilled. As previously mentioned...WOW!

Well worth the time.
Reviewed in the United States on December 13, 2018I read through it once... it's a very interesting and easy read. Now I'm starting again and taking it slow. I'm looking forward to working through the exercises and giving some additional thought to the perspective this book offers, even though I feel I've already benefited from it. Everyone who deals with people can find helpful information from this book. And we ALL deal with people.. even if you don't have a job that focuses on customer service.. we all have family, colleagues, neighbors, friends. This book helps with all relationships. It is well worth whatever time you have to devote.

Life Changing
Reviewed in the United States on June 16, 2019“Wow” is the first word that comes to mind. I picked up the book and couldn’t put it down until I was done. There are many great (impactful) ideas and solutions within this book, which is why I’m also giving the book to my (adult) kids to read. I definitely recommend this book as a “must read.”

M5 out of 5 starsStunningly brilliant and explosively powerful
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on November 17, 2018Oh my gosh! I’m halfway through this book but couldn’t wait to finish to give it a preliminary review. It was recommended by Pete Bisonette from Learning Strategies - when he said it the most powerful book he’s read all year, he was not exaggerating as to its impact! The insights shared and the insights provoked through the exercises are absolutely mind-blowing!!! This is already fundamentally changing the paradigm of the universe I’m living in. So grateful to the authors. Only midway through yet and I already understand myself and my relationships with an unparalleled clarity. What genius to tie it all in with our values. Can’t wait to get to the end and see my life transform before my very eyes. If I could give this 10million stars based on just the first half (with more still to come!) I would. Stunningly brilliant and explosively powerful.

AB5 out of 5 starsAn absolute must-have!
Reviewed in India on November 30, 2018An amazing and insightful book, which deals with the effects that the people you react with have on you.
We often spend time with some people, believing that they are fun to be with... We don't realize that we may be losing that time which could have been spent more productively!
And also the concept of storing bad memories on the highest shelf - in a sealed box - really interesting.
Absolutely highly recommended!
