Pathetic

Pathetic at how long it's been since I last posted.  We are headed to Disneyland again tomorrow.....probably the last time I posted was when we went last year.  The infamous time when Holden decided to give shaving a try!  I think this will be a truly magical time.  Maria, at 7 1/2 is so much more daring, while Holden is at that super fun age where he'll try anything (10 1/2).

I can't wait and I promise to start posting more.  I have to remind myself that my kids are going to want to have memories and the way my mind is going.......they aren't going to have any if they keep relying on me!!  So......tomorrow a new adventure begins and pictures are soon to follow.

The Weather

Last year, the weather just got to me...........all the rain. This year, things are different. I still don't like the rain; however, my attitude has shifted and I know it will all be over soon.

Kids, however, LOVE the rain. I have to tell Holden and Maria constantly to put on a jacket.  I'm amazed that he isn't cold!!!  I must go for now..........the sun is out!

This Is Going To Be a Regular Thing

I started this blog, really wanting to post to it everyday. I wanted to capture all of the great things that happen with my family. Like most things, I got sidetracked. But, NO MORE! There are just too many things that happen in a day that are funny, amazing, not so funny, emotional and just plain great. I want to be able to print this out someday...............perhaps as a gift to my children. Maybe they can then pass it on to their children. Who knows.

The other thing I am going to do is post more pictures to this. The kids are growing up just so fast. Holden is now 10 and Maria will be 7 in just over a month. I took Holden to his first concert this year, to see his guitar teacher play. It was awesome, at the Filmore in San Francisco and it was just priceless to see his face light up when he watched Glenn on stage. Maria is getting more and more verbal everyday. She is absolutely delightful and I feel like we have "girl" time finally.
