Trent Foo

Acting. Writing. Producing.

Trent James Chi Thor Foo is an Australian-Chinese, award-winning actor, writer, and producer born in Western Australia and based between Sydney and Los Angeles. His screen credits include television appearances on Home and Away and Caper Crew, starring roles in the award-winning short films DEZO and Paper Cranes, as well as appearances in numerous national and international television commercial campaigns.


On stage, Trent has toured nationally with The Blind Eye Trilogy and has written theatrical work for Slanted Theatre’s Lunar Festival at the National Theatre of Parramatta. In 2025, he wrote, produced, and starred in A Chinese Christmas, which was presented at KXT on Broadway as part of the theatre’s annual season, with a remount at the Seymour Centre’s Reginald Theatre following in 2026.


Trent is the founder and head of the boutique Australian production studio FooFrame Productions and continues to develop work across theatre, film, and television.
