It's About Time
I know I am so bad at updating my blog! I figured before I got into trouble I better get busy! We have had such a crazy month! Kira is playing volleyball (she is number 8) and she is loving it. We have 2 practices a week and then every Saturday they play in a rotating tournament from 8-3. It has been fun to see her learn some new skills. She has quite a mean hit when she gets the chance! She is also still dancing! They had a competition in Nampa where they earned a first on both their dances, and they also won an overall award and a studio award. Then they had another competition in Pocatello where, again, they earned two firsts and the overall winner! I am a bad mom, and I don't have any pictures from either dance competition. I guess I can try again when we go to Lagoon for the last competition!
Reese has been busy with soccer, but just like his daddy, he always has time for fishing! This was caught in the Boise River, just by the bridge down in Middleton. Tom says it is so pretty because it is a native. (which for all you non-fishers means it did not come from a hatchery) Reese told me the other day, "Mom when I get up and hear the birds, and it is so sunny and cool in the morning, I just have to go fishing!"
This was taken at Duff pond. We had decided to go fish for an hour because it was so nice outside. Kira has a fish on the line right here that you can't see. Jed was trying to jump in to get a better look! Fishing actually counts as exercise when you go with Jed! We are really excited for spring. Jed has to go outside every day and throw things in the pond, jump on the tramp, and go down the slide. You have to watch him every second because he is always trying to throw himself into the pond as well! Well, that gives you a little look at what we have been up to for the last 3 months! I will try to do better in the next 3!

Christmas Fun
I posted my pictures backwards again. So here is a look at our holidays in reverse! Reese received a new skateboard for Christmas, and Grandma Witters made sure he was nice and safe in pads and a helmet! I thought he looked very cool!
Kira was very excited about some new dangley earrings, and Reese is always good for a laugh!
I think his smile says it all! He was so excited about Buzz, he couldn't do anything else all day, including open any more presents!
Christmas Eve was lots of fun with new pj's for everybody from Grandma, and Grandpas new shirt that says "Scrooge still lives".

Snow Day
We don't always get a lot of snow, so when it does snow we enjoy it to the fullest! First on the list is a snowman! Kira and Reese made this snowman all by themselves, and were very proud!
Second is sledding behind the 4-wheeler in the field. If we can kick the cats off!

Pumpkin Patch and naps
Jed is starting to fight naps! This is what happens when he skips the nap. He crawled under a kitchen chair and fell asleep on my very hard, very uncomfortable wood floor. He slept through piano practice and me making dinner! Very tired boy.
It is definitely that time of year when you feel the need to visit the nearest pumpkin patch! It is always fun to start with the animals. Jed was very excited when the sheep ate pellets out of his hands.
Testing out the pumpkins.

This was on the hay ride to the field. It is so fun to get a picture with all of us in it!
Ash, Adi, and Emi enjoying the hay ride. I don't know how (Reese) but Emi ended up with a diaper full of hay! Poor girl! Very uncomfortable!
