In 1999, @NancyMace made history as the first woman to graduate from The Citadel. She'll make history yet again in January, when she is sworn is as the first Republican woman—and only the second woman ever—to represent South Carolina in Congress. bit.ly/36zfOSR

The Citadel is not, and never will be, the type of institution that yields to fear and uncertainty. To the South Carolina Corps of Cadets: we are truly proud of your commitment and your grit. #OurMightyCitadel

Mr. Dwight is well loved by the cadets in 2nd BTN—he's known for his friendly disposition, warm smile and his love for the @dallascowboys. Cadets from Echo and Hotel surprised Mr. Dwight today with an all-expenses paid trip to Dallas to see the Cowboys play. #OurMightyCitadel
