The CDC Director just told everyone to wear masks again. I would presume they are doing this not out of the goodness of their hearts but rather they know that we have more COVID infections happening than any time in the pandemic. No one's getting updated vaccines... Immunity

Looks like Novavax has an intranasal in the pipeline. And it appears to work in conjunction with their intramuscular just like I hoped it would. Don't have more information than that. But it's exciting news.

A new COVID wave has started... & No one has vaccine protection that's antigenically prepared for the current variants until at least Oct. Basically, we're going to take the already unreliable 'hybrid immunity' for a full test drive. I would mask up if you weren't already.

Yesterday I learned something new about COVID that actually scared me... it's been a while since I heard something and actually said "oh no" out loud. COVID has been found in the ocean far out in deep water. Turns out the Ocean is a suitable environment for COVID and dumping
