- Westerton Primary School in Bearsden has been awarded Gold by UNICEF UK’s Rights Respecting School programme. Staff and pupils worked closely with UNICEF UK to achieve this prestigious award and have been celebrating their success. Read more via the link in the comments below.

- Primary and secondary pupils from across East Dunbartonshire met at Kirkintilloch High recently for the ‘My Voice My Choice’ Showcase. The event celebrated the rights respecting work being done in our schools and recognised the efforts and achievements of the young people. 1/2

Work on a new outdoor community Pump Track facility next to Twechar Healthy Living & Enterprise Centre will start next week and we think it’s wheely exciting! 1/3Replying to @EDCouncilChildren who attended Twechar Primary School also got a chance to have their say at a special voting event in the school.The fabulous new facility has been designed to meet the needs of both inexperienced and experienced users and provide a resource that can be enjoyed by people of all ages on BMX bikes, mountain bikes, skateboards, and scooters.
