Looking out over the #BalticSea from #Kiel with @Tsahkna @MFAestonia, its strategic importance is unmistakable. So is our resolve. Together, we are stepping up #NATO cooperation, countering #Russia’s hybrid threats. Solidarity & trust are our best defence.
With @oana_toiu, I fully agree: the Baltic Sea & Black Sea are strategic hotspots for countering Russian threats. Germany & Romania are continuing to expand their defence cooperation. Egypt is a key partner & often decisive mediator in many of the region‘s diplomatic hotspots. I commend Egypt for its efforts to facilitate a deal between the USA & Iran.
