    I cannot believe I'm actually writing these words: Wanderstop is OUT NOW!! Although it's difficult to communicate just how meaningful this moment is to me, I've done my best to put my thoughts into a personal note. Thank you, and I hope you enjoy the game 💖

    Yesterday I announced my new game, Wanderstop (!) and I'm still sort of reeling from emotional whiplash. To be working on this in secret for so long, and to now have it out in the world, it's a very strange feeling. I guess let me say a few things about it. 🧵

    The Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe is content complete and will be launching on consoles and computers early next year! If you're wondering why this game has taken so long to develop, the script for new Ultra Deluxe content is actually LONGER than the script for the original game

    Today I replayed The Beginner's Guide for the first time since it launched, close to a decade ago. It's funny because in many ways the game is so tight and cohesive and genuine, I really love how sincere it is. Like a gentle hug.

    Here's something I can't believe I'm saying: The Beginner's Guide came out 5 years ago today. What a weird fucking game. I'm amazed it found the audience that it did. For years I'd been sitting on it, stressing about whether people would like it.
