    Our crews are out, patrolling by foot where necessary, to assess storm damage. Heavy snow drifts and narrow roads are making getting around tough. They’re on it, working hard to restore power safely! Thanks for everyone’s continued support.

    Our crews & support teams are focused on identifying the damage to our system from #Larry, & then making repairs/restoring power as safely & quickly as possible. But there’s lots of work to be done. We appreciate your kind words of support. Will provide updates as soon as we can.

    Our crews have made good progress today, restoring power to about 75% of our customers impacted by storm-related outages. Restoration remains challenging with blowing snow, impassable roads & high snow drifts. Crews will continue to work overnight, restoring power where they can.

    Our crews made steady progress overnight. We have about 5,500 customers without power, with power restored to over 55,000 customers since #Larry hit. All hands are on deck again since first light this morning, making repairs to the smaller pockets of customers that remain.

    (2/2) If your power is not restored by 10pm, you will likely be without power overnight. Crews continue to work overnight but progress is slower at night when it is dark. We appreciate your patience as we work hard to restore power in the aftermath of Hurricane Larry.

    (1/2) Our crews worked nonstop today to make repairs and restore power. All main power lines are back on. Crews have moved on to smaller pockets of customers. While we have restored power to almost 53,000 customers, unfortunately, some customers will be without power overnight.

    Helicopter patrols and assistance from provincial & municipal plows help our crews assess damage & make repairs. A big shout out to all those who are helping our crews get to where they need to be so they can safely restore power for our customers. Great team effort!!! Stay Safe.

    Damage assessment continues. We’re posting restoration times as soon as available. Power is restored to 37000 customers, well over 1/2 of those without power at the start of today. 24000 now without power. Thanks for your patience as crews work to safely get power back on.

    Conditions have deteriorated quickly in the Port aux Basques area. Floods, road washouts and extreme weather are delaying our ability to respond in some areas. Our crews remain on the ground and are responding where and when we can. Stay safe.

    Our crews continue to work as safely and quickly as possible. We have now successfully restored power to 45,000 customers, with approximately 16,000 left to go. Thank you for all the words of encouragement as our dedicated employees work to bring power back to those affected.
