- The only movie to win PGA, DGA, and WGA awards and lose Best Picture at the Oscars: BROKEBACK MOUNTAIN.
- LOTR: THE TWO TOWERS was nominated for six Oscars, including Best Picture, and won two (Sound Editing and Visual Effects). DUNE: PART TWO was nominated for five Oscars, including Best Picture, and has won two. (Sound and Visual Effects). Something to keep in mind.
- PARASITE wins. This is a landmark achievement in the Oscars not sucking.

- We don't talk about Bruno. We do, however, talk about The Flash entering the Speed Force.
- Chadwick Boseman always struck me as a logical successor to Robert Ryan and Robert Redford, an actor who projected decency, intelligence, and a wry sense of humor, without breaking a sweat. What an actor, what a profound loss.
