I did my first meditation retreat in the two weeks between the end of my phd and my first startup job. It was probably the single biggest accelerant of my career to date, and my start-up would almost certainly not exist if I hadn't done it.

+1. We need to normalize founder-led start-ups that incorporate to generate brand new tech/IP. I got so much confusion and pushback from VCs when I first started my co to develop a brand new therapeutic modality + associated tech from the ground up

we recently made a change to the way we run in vivo studies for one of our programs we ran the idea by a bunch of pharma people and consultants and they all hated it we did the experiment anyways and it paid off big time: -iteration cycle 3 months -> ~3 weeks -10x less

So honored to share that @proxbio was one of the 23 awardees (out of 1700+ applicants!) for the @ARPA_H #SprintForWomensHealth! This $3M grant will support our team as we advance next-gen proximity therapeutics for high value undruggable targets in the women’s cancer space
