A royal welcome 👋
The King has been greeted with sunshine and big crowds in St Peter Port ☀️
His Majesty met islanders after this morning’s special States sitting on the seafront 🇬🇬
A group of women came together this morning in support of a mother who was asked to move while breastfeeding at a local hotel.
They made their way to the Premier Inn at Admiral Park, where the incident was reported to have happened over the weekend.
Premier Inn has apologised.

The King and Queen have been at Les Cotils this afternoon, meeting representatives from the rest of the Bailiwick.

The Duchess of Edinburgh has been in the island today as more than 150 young people prepare for the Association of Sail Training Organisations’ Guernsey to Poole Small Ships Race, which gets under way on Tuesday afternoon ⛵️
The sun shone on Sark as it celebrated its 80th Liberation Day yesterday ☀️
The Princess Royal spent the day in the island, arriving in Little Sark before the community came together for a street party under the bunting on the Avenue 🥳

Get ready for a royal visit 👑
King Charles III and Queen Camilla will be coming to Guernsey on Tuesday 16 July.
It will be their first official visit to the island in 12 years and their first since King Charles’ accession.
