- Traffic changes ahead next week for both I-90 and the Prairie Trail as construction continues. Read for full details:
- Starting mid-next week temporary signals and lane reductions will cause delays for drivers on SH-54 between Athol and Spirit Lake as crews work to reconstruct the highway. These delays are expected to be in place for at least two weeks. Full details: ow.ly/WAie50ZemH9
- State Highway 24 will be closed under Interstate 84 at Exit 211 at Heyburn from 6 p.m. on Friday, June 19, through 7 a.m. on Monday, June 22. The closure will allow crews to install girders, which are large horizontal support beams, as part of the new I-84 westbound bridge.
Westbound drivers on SH-24 will be detoured to Exit 208 in Burley, and eastbound drivers will be detoured to Exit 216 at Declo. Learn more: - Heads up Caldwell! The I-84 Centennial Way eastbound on-ramp will close for 60 days starting June 25. After the Centennial Way ramp closes, crews will reopen the 10th Avenue eastbound off-ramp ahead of schedule. - Eastbound on-ramp at the Karcher Interchange closed tonight (6/17) from 9p to 5a. See detour below. Crews will also stripe SH-55 between Cassia St & Caldwell Blvd nightly (9p to 5a) from June 17 to 19. Expect lane closures & crews in the roadway. 🔗 itd.idaho.gov/project/karche…
- Following changes to funding, we are prioritizing projects that maintain existing roads and bridges. That means many expansion projects have been unfunded. You can comment on these changes starting July 1. MORE: ow.ly/T23450ZcVFs
- SH-46 is currently blocked near Wendell due to a fire that is being pushed quickly by the wind. Please avoid the area and find an alternate route. Check 511.idaho.gov for traffic updates.
- 🚨 Traffic Alert: US-12 is closed in both directions between MP 75 and MP 113 near Kooskia. No through traffic is permitted. Travelers should use an alternate route and check Idaho 511 for updates.
- The eastbound off-ramp will be closed at the Karcher Interchange tonight (6/16) from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. Crews will perform a hot chip seal to the pavement, extending the life of the roadway. See the detour route below. 🔗 itd.idaho.gov/project/karche…
