We’ve put 12.4 million of the most beautiful images in the public domain into an image-text dataset with community governance. Public Domain 12M is completely free. Its 30+ terabytes of images are hosted on AWS, so downloading them is fast and won’t negatively impact the

We are thrilled to announce that our campaign to gather artist opt outs has resulted in 78 million artworks being opted out of AI training. This establishes a significant precedent towards realizing our vision of consenting AI, and we are just getting started!

It's a real joy to announce our @huggingface partnership🙂 From today, eligible datasets hosted on Hugging Face will show a data report powered by our API, informing model trainers what data has been opted out and how to remove it. Another big step towards consenting training!

For those that want opt out of upcoming open SD 3.0 dataset release, please visit haveibeentrained.com by @spawning_ by March 3rd. Dataset is based on @CommonCrawl so always respects robots.txt ie images usable by Google search AI etc, but collaborating to go further.

Researchers at @Northeastern Bau Lab (@davidbau) have found a promising method for removing concepts from AI models. This is exciting research that may enable artists to opt out of already trained models! We are partnering to help collect a list of artists to remove in a study

We only tested one case, but our findings suggest it is possible to deglaze glaze cloaked artworks. We applaud the motivations and effort behind this project, and have shared our approach with the development team (only).
