Happy birthday Hannah!

My dear sweet Hannah,

How can I put into words how much these last 7 years have meant to me?

Even before you were born, you were teaching me so much. So many important life lessons. You've made me a better person just by your existence.

And the fact that I get the honor to be your mommy is beyond incredible.

There is so much I love about you--your beautiful smile, your caring heart, your sensitivity to others who are hurting---just to mention a few.

But one of my favorites is how much you love Jesus.

Sweetie, there are so many times that we struggle or are hurting. It's you that bring us back to Jesus and trusting Him. You've told us to pray and pray all the time. That Jesus can do anything and that everything will be okay. You are always singing songs about Jesus, how He died on the cross and rose again and how much you love Him.

It makes me beam with happiness. I know if it makes me so happy, it makes Jesus so very happy.

Do you know how proud I am of you?

Do you know that whenever I see pictures of you I smile?

Do you know that my heart melts when your teachers or other parents tell me how sweet you are and well-mannered?

Do you know that every day when you go to school, a bit of my heart goes with you and I can't wait until the end of the day so I can see you again?

Do you know that even though I may get upset at you or you disappoint me sometimes, that I will never stop loving you?

Nothing you could ever do could make me stop loving you.

You will always be my baby, my little girl, the light of my life.

Today on your seventh birthday more than anything I want you to know how much I love you. No matter what, I will always love you and nothing will change that. I am so proud of you. I hope you never stop singing about Jesus and talking about Him. He brought you to us in the most amazing way and He deserves all the praise.

Enjoy today and the upcoming days sweetheart as we celebrate you. The joy you bring to so many people is beyond what I could ever have dreamed about. You've touched so many lives.....and you've only just begun.

I love you and just so proud of you I could burst.

With all my love,

Mommy

A local singer has been on "The Voice" and made it into the Final Four! To show support, the school had a dress up day for him---flannel shirts and backwards caps. Here is the picture of them from Facebook. This picture also made it on his official fan page! Hard to see Hannah---she's towards the bottom with only half her face showing :(

She didn't do as good this week on her spelling test but I told her everyone has a bad week once in awhile:

She passed her vision test!

They had a pj day at school. Always one of my favorite days. Don't have to worry about what to wear in the morning :)

The next week was Thanksgiving week and they only had school for Monday and Tuesday. So not much for school :) But here is a picture of Hannah at Thanksgiving:

And here is a picture of Hannah and her cousins at the Lighting Festival waiting for the parade on Friday night...yes it's raining. :) It's tradition to go
